Great product but limited to Skype.
Can only be used with an HDTV, not a PC.
Logitech if you're listening, you hit a winner with this
product. But lack of PC compatability, coupled with Skype
proprietary OS limits this excellent product.

I use either TeamViewer or Google Remote desktop for remote monitoring of our hardwired USB webcam. But wireless webcam is the holy grail of remote desktop. It eliminates USB cable length restrictions (15 feet) and allows for connection of multiple webcams to one pc wirelessly for remote home monitoring and security

Works Fine for Skype TV

Purchased 2 units and TV Cam HD with Skype worked fine. HD video was really nice and the auto-answer was perfect for my Mom. Setting Skype security including being invisible online worked nicely to ensure auto-answer was secure. Made sure the Internet bandwidth was sufficient at both ends (1.5Mbps min up & downlink) to support HD. TV Cam automatically downgrades as required depending on available bandwidth and Skype cam usage (like if using a PC with a regular webcam).
TV Cam is very simple to use, but you do have to initially setup Skype account using a PC or Mac.

So close but so far

Great quality audio video, easy to use BUT lacks key features:
Can not be used as web cam for anything other than Skype
Does not support group calling
The only thing it can be used for is one to one skype calls - so very expensive single use device.
If they fix the software and allow it to be used as a general camera I would buy 5 immediately!
