I'm only 13 and I go a lot of places so I would need portability and this is an excellent traveling mouse. I've had it for at least a year and it still works great! I'd definitely recommend this.

I've been very happy with the product and am planning on replacing it now that it has worn out. After a year of use the left-click button has worn out. I've opened it up and found that the plastic connecting to the switch has worn down. I fixed that, but then found that the switch itself doesn't push the button back, so responsiveness is diminished. Logitech should consider upgrading the quality of the switch, the button-switch interface, or installing some sort of internal spring in order to not rely upon the spring within the switch itself.

I used the V100 optical mouse with my notebook for 3 years. I travel frequently and the mouse went with me to Europe, South America, Asia and all over the USA working as advertised. At about the 2.5 year point the mouse started giving me double clicking headaches. I prefer more durability for my $20, hence the markdowns in quality and performance. Overall though, I like the small size and convience of a mouse over the scratchpad on my notebook.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a simple laptop mouse, or just a small mouse at that. This has plenty of buttons and has never once given me a problem... Period. It is being used as a backup since my G7 died (Out of no where, literally, just stopped working?) and was my primary mouse for about a year prior. I am using this with my desktop but beware if you have big hands it might take a little getting used to. Not so ergonomic, but I wouldn't give it up even when I do have my G7 working just because I like to have it around for a backup. Worth every cent I paid and doesn't skip a beat, nor do the buttons stick or double click when they're not supposed to. Slick design and easy to use, don't hesitate to purchase it, its worth the cash!

Corded so you never have to change batteries, very small, and side scrolling. All that I need in a mouse without other useless features that just add bulk.
