Hello all!
My name is A.J. and i have also owned this incredible Z-5500 sound system for about 5 years now and let me just say i have had nothing but Compliments on my sound quality from friends and family on it! I work in retail selling sound systems and there is not 1 home theatre system in a box that could ever beat it, especially for the price! I have moved many times and dropped the speakers Many times and never had a problem. They are incredibly durable. The only thing that was not so efficient was the wall mounting capabilities, but even still i just purchased a few metal washers and had them mounted the same day. If they ever break down for some strange reason i will be purchasing the same system again to replace it. You can use these speakers for almost any dvd or game system out there!

I bought it a few months ago, and I'm really satisfied with the speaker, they are reallly powerfull, the sound is crisp, decode dolby digital, and DTS, many imputs...etc.
But, un fortunatly, it doesn't have an ecualizer and the foot to mount on the wall is not so good. For a rasonably cost it offer many of the features of superior cost home teathers. Sorry for my english.

My lil bro got this for me last year christmas he got hooked up. but by far this is number 1. he got it for my playstation3 and gaming wise its amazing not only that movies are great on it as well. we have a bose system in our house in the living room and this blows it out of the water ive always thought they were over priced anyways i would definately recommend this anyday over bose lol

I havnt had much luck with warrenty's until my z-5500 stopped working and two months before my warrenty ended. I called the customer service rep at logitech and told him the issue and to my amazment they issued me a brand new system and even paid for shipping.Thank you logitech for standing behind your warrenty and being so prompt at getting my system back to me..oh and it sounds great too :)

i have had this system since 2005 and it is still rocking. the subwoofer is dominating and the speakers are the best. the sound is crisp and clear. if i were offered any stereo system i would definitely choose these over any other one.

This system rocks the house...literally. My apartment neighbors probably hate me! This system pumps hard and the clarity from the lowest lows to the rich mid-range to the highest highs is the definition of a masterpiece.

I recently upgraded to these from my old Z-5300 speakers. I was expecting a difference, but not this much. I could not believe how much better the overall quality is on this set. My 5300s were amazing, but these are so much more. The sub is cleaner and more profound delivering tighter, deeper bass. The Satellites are clearer then the 5300s (which I didn't think could be possible) and the control station with the LCD panel is fantastic. I bought this set to replace my 5300s for my Computer for gaming and when I am doing music creation and video editing, but I am thinking of picking up another set for my Home Theater setup as well because of how great these sound. Would recommend these even to my enemies because everyone deserves fantastic audio :)

I got this speaker system as a birthday present and I am in no way disappointed. The entire deal was amazing for the price my parents got online. It was like-new when I got and absolutely nothing has gone wrong. I have thrown the dial all the way up banging Andre Nickitana through the 188 watt sub and it sounds amazing. I also use this for Call Of Duty 4 and World At War on my PS3 which is hooked up to my computer monitor. The entire setup makes for a prize that all of my friends are jealous of. If you want great sound and quality in a system built for videogames and movies, then this system is for you. Do not expect any of the speakers to be small either. The satellites are about 6-7 inches in height and about 3 inches in depth. Then the sub is a little more than a square 15 inches all around. I have neighbors that live about a quarter mile away, and when I have this cranked up all the way (when my parents aren't home, of course) they have actually called and asked me to turn it down! The speakers show no signs of blowing out or bottoming out at any time. They are very sturdy and well built. You will very rarely turn the dial even more than half way, and when you do you will only have a smile on your face. So the bottom line, they are much better than expected, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a system to fit in a smaller room and have huge sound. Hardly any cons at all, however as many users have already stated, more inputs would be nice, but it is already fine as it is. Three main 3.5mm jacks in the back for 5.1 surround from a computer, optical, and coax, too. Then on the side it has a simple input for an Ipod or mp3 player that disperses the sound evenly. And then a 3.5mm output jack for headphones. I don't know where Logitech gets the idea that you can "plug in six different audio sources simultaneously" but it really does not matter. Truthfully there are 4 inputs and 1 output jack. I think they mistake the 3 computer surround sound jacks to be separate, which they are not. Regardless, BUY THIS SYSTEM.

over the years i had and i have listened a lot of logitech speakers!!! and of course from other brands..........
i bought them today......there is not much to say really!!!! i m just stand by their performance!!!!!! i pushed them only half way!!!!! the closet, the doors started ratelling!!!!!!
and of course i have had some complaints from the neightbours!!!!! briliand sound briliand qualitty, the remote control is VEERY VEEEEERY useful!!!! ENDLESS POWER!!! honestly they worth every single penny......in fact they are cheap the power they deliver!!!!!
i recomend them to everyone without a shadow of a dought!!!! the ONLY thing is if you decide to buy them u better go to the shop with a car!!!!! they are reaally heavy to carry them around!!!!!! i wish everybody that already have them and to those who decide to buy them a good listening!!!!

A wonderful System, the ordering and carrying the 28 kg system home was worth it!
Only negative is, not enough outputs. I cannot plug my 5.1 Headphones in the system.
And the Wall-mount needs to be designed better. I had to drill 1 extra hole to mount the speaker in a diffrent angle. All it needs is a 3 point mount, instead of a 2 point mount. Like a tripod.

This is a very good system for the price, i managed to pick mine up brand new for £200. however i encountered problems pretty much straight out of the box! it was replaced after 1 month and now my second set is on the blink! faults have been: awful sounding subwoofer and non working backlight. although it is quite powerful i think logitech could pump abit more juice into the sub...

the sound quality is just amazing it sounds better then my aftermarket sonys in my car, its crystal clear and gives you a perfect tone and beat and is worth the money, blew my subwoofer tho, my fault for playing lil jon on boost 11, but i hooked up a 12 inch car sub to the speaker system and now it just absolutely screams

I purchased this kit on January 2007 to replace numerous "Creative" kits that kept failing on me after around a year of use.
Almost 3 years later (and i use them daily might i add!), i'm STILL blown away by there superior quality, reliability, and endless power. I honestly cannot fault them... i should have gotten them long before i did and saved me a lot of money and time from replacing cheaper, poorer performing kits.
I've yet to have the volume past half-way, from fear that the windows may shatter!

Sadly not many people caught the deal i got on these. Brand new for like... $160 I think. Awesome freakin deal. Best buy I've gotten. And I'm currently 13 years old. Love this system and i totally recommend it. Even though if you have to pay $400 bucks for it. I use optical on my ps3 with it and it sounds beautiful. Also my PC is using DIGITAL. Again. A great buy.

Great speaker set, clear sound with a good tone range. Woofer is a bit loud, but it's perfectly adaptable at the control pod.
Early batches had issues with popping speakers at low volumes, but I can assure that is no more.

This speaker set is just GREAT! the sound is very good. I use it at party's and in my room. It blows everything away hahaha. It also looks great, especially the volume controll thing is an eye-catcher.
