WOW, where do I start? I was never a fan of 2.1 speaker systems until I decided to buy these after reading millions and millions of positive reviews about them and doing some research about speakers a couple of days ago. Let me tel you, I've tried many 2.1 speakers and know that Bose do stand at Logitech's level with the sound quality, but that company knows nothing but to over charge for everything they make. So what do I conclude? None of their expensive computer speakers are worth a penny to me. The only thing I would recommend from them is a home speaker system and the Around the Ear headphones which have beautiful Noise Cancelling and sound.
Back to the subject, I've used the Z-5500 and they're insane. Without a doubt, the Z-5500's are one of the best 5.1 speakers on the market. 5/5 for them. Now judging from the quality and sound from these and the Z-5500 from Logitech, there is no difference whatsoever except for the fact that the Z-5500 are 5.1 and the Z-2300 are 2.1. I am telling anyone, the Z-2300 speakers are worth every penny. The sound is so crisp, clear, and rich. You can hear every instrument and vocal in ANY song you play. The bass is insane. What do I mean by insane? If you live in a house just make sure it's built strong enough before you turn up the bass and volume all the way up on these speakers. If you live in an apartment, make sure you sign an agreement with your fellow neighbors not to call the cops when they feel the walls shaking and trembling. Did I mention the volume on these? Forget it, you will never get to a point where you would want their full volume. Do you know how loud they are? LOL. You will not believe it. EXTREMELY LOUD. I would seriously go deaf if I put them all the way up. So you're wondering if they sound static when they're all the way up with the bass at 100%? Hahaha. Nope! The sound is still clear with no static noise. It's hard to believe I know, like it was hard to believe when I experienced that myself. I was extremely impressed that with the volume at 100% and bass at 100% I experienced no change in sound quality whatsoever.
If you are looking for 2.1 speakers for your computer, games, music, or even TV, get these. Do not look at Bose, Altec Lansing, Creative, and whatever else company is out there. I SWEAR you will love me after you get these. I can't show you in words how good these are, but I can only try to convince and persuade you. Don't over think on which 2.1 speakers to get after reading this. Just go out there and get them, that's all.
