I just bought these, and the Radio plays through them very faintly! I can't get to to stop!!! I am considering taking these back.

I just recieved these speakers this weekend as a prize from my post prom. I plugged them in and immediately loved them! The sound is really nice, and the subwoofer is very nice for only a $50 dollar system. The ipod dock thing is really neat, but the thing it sits in seems really cheap and im not sure how long it will hold. Seems really flimsy would be a good word to describe. Really the only thing I hated was the ipod dock did not unplug from the subwoofer. It was a pain trying to stick the ipod dock through the hole in the back of my computer desk. Other than that, I am extremelly pleased with this product and will for sure come back and buy from them when I am looking for more stuff.

The only reason I am pleased with these speakers is because they were free. Logitech replaced my previous X-230 system with these. I am rather disappointed. When plugged into my laptop there is a constant static which is irritating. This doesnt seem to occur when plugged into my iPod. The iPod dock feature is a neat idea but seems pretty flimsy and isnt the most user friendly. I think the speakers have a nice sound other than that, for a 40 or 50 dollar system that is. I suppose this is worth the money, but try to find something else if you can.

These speakers were an awesome find for 40 bucks Worked awesome for 40 dollars and i was thoroughly impressed. But now just over a year later and i have to contend with a horrible buzzing sound all the time. I have tried them on different systems and with my i pod and they still buzz. Tried plugging them into a power stabilizer in case i was getting interference from the other electronics in my house... no luck. But i would just say that for 40 dollars they were a wonderful pair of speakers and didn't really expect for them to last much longer than that.

I consider myself to be an audio nut and when i ran across this unit on sale i thought i'd give it a try. These speakers FAR exceeded my expectations! My only complaint is i didn't get them sooner!

The best I have had since I had bought my stereo 25 yrs ago! The ergonomics are somehow insufficient, the subwoofer is quite big and the features lack some but overall this system is one of the best quality and performance for an average PC user. Even for the enthusiast. TPP is 50W and you buy it for the price of 25W sound systems. The price is acceptable for most computer users. It's ease of use makes it my recommendation to everybody who don't spend much to have even more.

My prior Logitech speakers were great! The X240 sounds very thin. The controller creates static in the audio. The base points down so if it is placed anywhere other than the floor it rattles everything. I am very disappointed. They are going back to the store ASAP. The Z4s look much better and their reviews are everything the X240s are not!

i bought this today and i must say for its price its brilliant, when its very loud it is a tiny bit fuzzy, but the bass is very good and the sounds are very clear i feel i made a very good purchase with this speaker system

The sound WAS good, but the left speaker broke after a few months. Well, at least it outputs at about 10-20% volume, which means I have to re-balance whatever source I'm using. However, even when I do, the sound that does come out can be quite distorted if it's a mid-high range frequency. I've wiggled wires all over, and can't figure out why it's happened.

I've been looking for a set of cheap, but good set of speakers for a long time. Even thought it's very rare to find the two together, I found the right system. The satellites sound very good, except when they are turned up near the max, but that's a problem almost every speaker has. The woofer is great as well. It provides some very nice lows in a small package. The dongle has what you would expect, on/off, line in, line out, and volume. The one thing that's preventing me from giving this a 5 is the iPod/Zune dock feature. The cradle is a cheap little plastic thing that pulls out of the dongle. You have to put in the dock adapters that came with it, like all iPod/Zune docks, but they're not labeled. When you try to use the dock, you have wires going everywhere.

I have had these speakers for a bit over a year and have had only one problem with them. They are great desk speakers and have great sound and a great bass. In addition, they are very easy to operate and ready to go from the package. The only problem I have is that when I am not playing music or using them and they are still turned on, they seem to somehow pick up a radio transmission. I found this to be very odd because they are only plugged into the back of my computer and an outlet. This, however, only occurs when the volume level is on its ultimate low, if turned up, the radio sound will stop. Overall though, these are great speakers and I definately recommend them.

These speakers are forty dollar speakers. Without the sub woofer the two satellite speakers sound terrible like headphones. Also, the sub woofer was broken after two weeks. The bass is cracking every time it plays.

This is a good set of speakers for the money but unfortunately I cannot control the headphone volume with the volume control on the unit which is inconvenient.

The speakers are not bad at all but the bass is absolutely horrible unless you keep the volume down, once you turn it up you can't tell whether its a bass or not. The point is if you like good,deep bass at a high volume you will be extremely upset, so I recommend you to spent little more money and get better system with better bass.

Paid $40 at local wholesale club and am very happy with these speakers. They sound incredible. Very powerful. Hard to believe how good they sound considering they only cost me $40. The bass is very deep and strong. I highly recommend these.

When I heard the quality...wow. Nothing could beat this. Maybe Bose, but their expensive. This is the best speaker system that I've ever uses. Good job, logitech!
