So, ive been playing many fps games for many, many years.
I have had keyboards like G11, classic 200 from logitech. But so far this keyboard beats them all. It is much more comfortable than those, or any else keyboards I've had.
Really nice to write with and works perfectly with FPS gaming.
Only thing that bothers me is Fn keys. I really dont need them at all.
I recommend this keyboard for:
-Gamers, who play many hours per day
-Office or other computer (writing) related jobs
-To normal use
-Some one who likes music and multimedia

If this thing didn't have the messed up F keys, it'd be perfect; I don't think it's asking too much of computer newbies to be able to expect them to know how to double click the Internet Explorer icon on their desktop; no computer enthusiast in their right mind wants those cluttered application keys on their keyboard to begin with, and to integrate them with something as integral and important as the F keys.. that's just wrong. I'm considering either getting replacement keys made or using chemical stripper and some stick-on replacements to correct the issue.

When I got this keyboard, I was a little apprehensive because I had read conflicting reviews regarding its true compatibility with Macs.
Now, after more than a year using it, I am happy to report that compatibility is fine as long as you take the time to configure the Logitech Control Center correctly. Granted, it is not the most intuitive of software, nor the most stable. It has its share of bugs, but overall the experience has been very satisfying. All the function keys work as they are supposed to, and it is a pleasure to have that many shortcuts on a keyboard.
The only mild complaint I have is that it is a Windows keyboard, and therefore some keys do not show what they are on a Mac OS machine. Not a real problem if you have been a Mac user for years, but annoying nonetheless. It is a pity that Logitech could not include some "Mac customization kit" with this product. I for one would actually pay for that as an option...

I previously had a Logitech Desktop set which consisted of an MX700 mouse and a multimedia Elite wireless keyboard. It was getting a bit worn and I went for another Logitech as the quality is always top drawer. I can safely say I am not disappointed. The LX8 mouse is awesome and feels much better than the already excellent MX700, the buttons on either side of the mouse take a bit of getting used to but after a while you wonder how you managed without them there before. It's precise and accurate and looks great too. I maybe should have gone for the "Pro" as I liked the old MX700 charging cradle but so far battery life is good.
The Wave keyboard is one of those ideas that at first you are not sure about but now I struggle to type comfortably on a standard keyboard. The key action is brilliant, the "Wave" layout is clever and works perfectly. It has as many hot key functions that you will ever need without being too gimicky and it is relaxing and responsive to use. I do a lot of web developing and this keyboard helps to ensure those long hours sat in front of the PC are productive. Again, as well as being a top quality design it also looks stunning.
To sum up, Logitech do it again. Brilliant quality, class leading design and a great price!!!.

I have to say I was sceptical about getting this BIG keyboard but after setting it up...I AM AMAZED!!! I'm working from a macbook pro with duel screen using leapord
The thing can launch 10 applications from the keyboard. You can zoom in/out in any program. GREAT if you wear glasses. Sometimes the web pages open too small for my aging eyes. Opens up spaces in OSX, ical, iphoto, calcualtor, frontrow, itunes, pages, excel, firefox, ichat, mail, search, put comptuer to sleep. THING IS AWESOME!!!
Keypad works...some say it did not work. WORKS AWEOMSE! 12345
Ergonomics is the best...was typing on a macbook pro laptop keyboard. After you go to the wave you'll only type on the laptop if you have too. Keyboard wrist rest is an awesome touch!!! very comfortable.
I got the wired version of the keyboard because want to save the environment a battery.
Don't look any further...buy it today!!!

I really like this keyboard as far as typing is concerned, the letter and number keys work just great.
My complaint is with the little Macintosh logo on the box that claims compatibility. There are known issues with this Logitech's Control Center software that the manufacturer refuses to acknowledge or correct. This product is "compatible" with Macintosh OS if you have no intention of using any of the extra multimedia keys or customizing anything about it at all. The "home" and "end" keys will work randomly in different programs, but not on most websites. In general, you get the same usability of a keyboard half it's price, only you get to pay more for features that are only available to Windows users. And yet Logitech still claims "compatibility".
TL:DR - Logitech input devices are not worth the headache it takes to use them on a Macintosh. Just ignore every claim that Logitech makes concerning "Mac Compatibility".
I would not recommend this product to anyone who uses OS:X.

In between traditional and split ergonomic. Soft, quiet keys. *Love* the built-in wrist pad. Still trying to get used to the new contour - contour makes end keys not where my fingers remember them. It would have been nice to see a CAPS LOCK light (unless I'm missing it). The F keys could be a little larger as my position requires regular use of them. Many features not for my use. But I like the keyboard ... just hope it doesn't "walk" away after hours!

over all its a great product, I bought it quite cheap.
one small issue with it:
usually home and end key are in vertical order.
but this one they design in horizontal order, that is the only inconvenience.

I just received my wave keyboard today and I'm so excited. I already can tell a difference when typing and know that I'm not going to have a problem with my hands hurting after 5 minutes.
I installed this keyboard on my Mac Mini at work and it works amazing. The number pad and function keys work great. (I finally have an eject button on my keyboard!) I can bring up my dashboard, show all windows, even connect to iTunes NO PROBLEM!!!

I have carpal tunnel and problems with both shoulders. This is the first keyboard I have ever had that helps alieviate the stress in both my wrists and shoulders. The shortcut keys are very helpful and made it much easier to work on my computer. I no longer need voice recognition software to do basic tasks such as send emails.

This is a great keyboard for casual internet surfers and veteran gamers alike and the low price makes it that much better.
When I first got this keyboard the wave shape was a hindrance, but a day later it felt much, much better in comparison to your average straight keyboard.
The function keys were something I had somehow never managed to hear of and when I first started using them they were a little odd. But again, after a couple days and the added option of three function keys that you can program yourself, I found myself flying through various programs.
Another feature i found very useful were the media keys at the top center. They are just the basics but they are very nice to have.
Overall this is a fantastic keyboard that everybody can and should use.

This keyboard is so cool, the keys are quite and soft to the touch, the wrist rest is very comfortable and has helped me a lot since my wrists started hurting with other keyboards. It's like this keyboard was made for me. I even started using typing tutorial programs to be a better at typing... never would have done that with other keyboards. I highly recommend this keyboard, especially for people who work with computers on a daily basis.

I received the keyboard about 2 weeks ago and I'm glad I got this one. I read one bad review of the keyboard cable was short, yet after I hooked it up, it wasn't. I've been using laptop keyboard for about 10 years now and I needed something that is more ergo for me, and this did the trick! If you need a keyboard this is the one! Thanks Logitech

I was stuck in the, so called, Ergonomic KB universe and I didn't realise what I was missing.
Took me years, but I finally purchased a Logitech Cordless Desktop. What was I waiting for? This set is easily the best purchase I have made for my desktop yet.
PLUS, I can use the usb interface & mouse on my laptop with reduced space.
An easy to use, highly portable, desktop set. This set incorporates light key pressure, well designed key placement, a massive improvement in typing speed, etc.
I like it so much, I purchased three more, one for each other machine here and a spare for someone else less fortunate than I.
