After several months of great service it froze my HP dv6000. Unplug it and the computer works fine. Plug it in and the computer freezes up again. Go to Office Depot -- "it's not compatable with Windows Vista" If true why sell the combination to me in the first place. Like I said, It worked fine for several months maybe over a year. Where can I go from here?

I generally liked this product, my only annoyance is with the receiver. It is large, bulky, flimsy (the usb male end is about to break off) and gets poor reception (even when using the USB extender). I have purchased a nano vx and love the nano receiver. I've tested the range and it works accurately to over 30 feet (tested it using a laptop w/ projector at work). If only I could use the nano receiver with the wave...

This is an incredible keyboard! I've only been using it for a day but that's all you need to review it.
The good: This keyboard and mouse set is absolutely incredible! The feel of it was very good! I love the wave design and cushioned wrist rest. The mouse is spectacular, but switching from a laser mouse to an optical was a little tricky, but the one that came in the set is better. The software was easy to install and get the F keys set up. This review is the first real typing I've done with it and I'm typing much faster!
The bad: I had nothing bad until I tried the "PC" key in the upper right. I takes a while to put it to sleep (I didn't know it at the time) and hit it 2 more times. The result: stuck in sleep, not being able to wake up. I held the power button to shut it down and when I fired it back up my monitor (yes monitor, not the computer) said it couldn't display the screen format. I shut it down again and it worked ok. After taking the receiver and mouse to another computer I had a hard time getting is connected again. It was able to it's just I was doing it wrong. Later my programed keys started doing the default tasks. I couldn't figure out how to fix it. I took out the receiver, put it back in, connected and they were working.
Overall summary: This is an excellent keyboard and the only problems were partially from me or made harder by me so you may run into some trouble the first day but once you have some experience it is flawless. Good job Logitech!

I am very disappointed with the Desktop Wave set I bought just 3 months ago, because the keyboard characters on 4 keys have disappeared! Right, you read correctly, I don't have key C, N, A, or F anymore! The characters have literally just vanished into space, and Logitech is replacing the whole shebang. I saw the N key go away 1st, then the A key, the C, and this week the F went away, so the quality of this set is very questionable, and having to go through a complete replacement process is definitely a drag. Logitech is making it easy on me though by simply replacing the whole set, and they don't even want the old set back, surprise! As to the tactile sense and feel of the keyboard? It's OK, but not up to the feel of my Mac keyboards on the new style all aluminum board, or even my older legacy keyboard on my iBook G3 600Mhz. There's a certain clickety-clack to this board, it seems to take a good push to hook up each keystroke which took some getting used to, but so be it. I do like the ergonomics of the board, ie it does have benefits with the palm rest, wrist rests for both hands.

Keyboard is comfortable and very mobile. Never had any problems until i press the PC key located far top right. My computer shut down some type of sleep mode and never woke up. Tried rebooting nothing on screen and my computer shut down again. Unplugged, swapped keyboards and mouse nothing. Weird right? Always one in the bunch and i got it. Anyway, other then that never had any other problems.

I love the key action of the keyboard. I'm a Mac user and have a slim silver keyboard that looks nice but doesn't really cut it in terms of comfort. So, I upgraded to this deal. To maintain the cleanness of my workspace, I went wireless. First thing I immediately notice - the mouse is AWFUL. I have the new laptop mouse so my expectations were high. I couldn't be more disappointed in the stiff and stubborn scroll wheel.
The special keys also annoy me.... Not because I'm a Mac User and don't have Vista... but because I took the time to reprogram every key and they settings didn't stick. The controller software doesn't work as well on Mac. I'm slightly annoyed by those two major issues and have contemplated returning the entire set for a Microsoft pair.
BUT I LOVE THE KEYBOARD SO MUCH - So I'm torn. Maybe I'll return it for a corded wave keyboard only and get a better mouse.

I've been using this keyboard/mouse combo for about 4 months now and it is very comfortable. The keyboard keys are quiet yet satisfying and the mouse is very precise. The hotkeys and media keys are also very useful.
Cons: The mouse forward button is inconvenient, however I never liked these on any keyboard and disabled them straight away. The zoom feature and the vista window slide show feature is ultra sensitive, I find it a massive challenge to zoom in one stage...
Overall, very good, cheap, quality keyboard with endless useful features that comfy with only a few issues.

I am an older baby boomer who doesn't like change, even though I am on the computer about 30 hrs a week. The curvy keyboard was offputting at first. My son encouraged me to give it a try. Soundless keystrokes are wonderful and I adapted to the board right away. Connection and use was effortless. Mouse tracking is a bit fast, but I'll get used to it. Great product Note: I havent used any of the features, so my opinion of "good" is a guess.

This is a very nice Logitech keyboard. After having a few other wireless combos stop working on me, I decided to look for a new keyboard and mouse combo that had alot of features, had somewhat of an ergonomic design, and didn't cost alot of money, and I ran across the WAVE.
PROS: Good, Sturdy Design; Multiple Height Adjustments; Good Battery Life; Nice Hotkeys; Mouse is of a nice quality; Media Controls
CONS: Typing Lag - I have experienced, like some other users here, typing lag: Meaning my system will pickup the keystroke a second after I actually hit the key on the keyboard. USB Receiver Stand doesn't work! I tried to fit the USB Mini-Receiver into the stand, and it wouldn't fit. I ended up having to use a USB extender to make it come within range of my Keyboard and Mouse.

While eliminating the tethering of the keyboard and mouse is attractive it is hardly IMO a sufficient reason for purchasing yet another keyboard and/or mouse. However, by simply moving the USB receiver between multiple machines allows easily sharing the keyboard and mouse. Also, this combination reduces the need for a KVM which is not only a relatively expensive item but one that increases the number of cables by an order of magnitude.
The buttons on the side of the mouse are fantastic! I use them to move the focus with ease between virtual desktops. Previously I've rarely taken advantage of extra buttons on the keyboard but I find that I'm starting to do so with this one.
In less than two of weeks of using the first set at home I bought a second set for work. IMO life is too short to suffer second rate hardware and software that gets daily use.
The only fault I can find with the Cordless Desktop Wave is that the ergonomics of the keyboard hand positions can be improved slightly by moving farther along the path to a split keyboard. This is obviously a personal preference no doubt influenced by using a such a keyboard for many years. However, I had no hesitation whatsoever in moving over to this keyboard.

Pros: This is a great keyboard. The ergonomics are great and the cutomizable keys are very convenient to have. This keyboard if fully optimized for Vista and it literally has every function available as a shortcut on the keyboard. There is a button for Windows Media Center as well using the Flip 3D scheme. The keyboard is very comfortable to use and the wrist support is amazing. The mouse is also very precise and I had no problems at all playing games or doing precise photo editing on photoshop.
Cons: There really is only 1 con to this keyboard and it's the typing lag. If you try typing a bunch of keys very quicky and finally stop, for about half a second the keys are still typing on the screen. I thought at first that maybe I had a connection problem but I then tried my co-worker's keyboard at work and hers did the same thing. I was typing keys quicky and when I stopped, the keyboard was still sending the signal of the last keys I was pressing. This wasn't a problem for me on my old wireless keyboard. Maybe this is going to be fixed with an updated driver. If your a slow typist, then this really isn't going to bother you, but for someone that is used to a fast response keyboard, then this might be a bit bothersome like it was for me.
Overall this keyboard is great, probably one of the best I've used, I just hope this lag is fixed by an updated driver in the near future.

This is a great keyboard, unless you are a left handed user and try to user the Ctrl + Insert combo instead of Ctrl + C. You need to remember to stretch your fingers apart farther or you'll accidently hit the Home button. Unfortunately this is the case with most of the Logitech keyboards.

Ive been browsing for months which mouse and keyboard to buy for my TOSHIBA laptop. I bought a wired Dell keyboard and its not bad, but im not contented. Search again and read all the customer reviews for this LOGITECH CORDLESS WAVE. There are positive and negative reviews but still i decided to buy one for myself. When i saw this on store i like the design and all the functions, so i bought it. And im so happy for this purchase. This is awesome and Im really impressed. The keys are soft and all the short cuts and functions i need are all here. I love to view pictures using the zoom and both the mouse and keyboard works in zooming, you can choose which you like to use. The waves of the keyboard is ergonomic and perfectly design for the hands and conforms naturally to your fingers. Mouse is precise and it works on any surface, the position of the buttons are accurate. You need to be used to it at first. I use a mouse pad so it wont get dirt. I really enjoy typing even i dont have any thing to type. There are peoples giving negative reviews for this combo, but all i can say "NOTHING IS PERFECT IN THIS WORLD". Buy this COMBO and you wont regret. You can see for yourself. Highly recommended.

I absolutely hate this mouse!!!! The forward button is in such a poor position that it gets hit almost every time I touch the mouse. I have a Logitech MX Revolution mouse at home that I love but the mouse in this package is one of the worse mice ever! The keyboard feels nice to type on but the F key spacing has been changed from the standard on every keyboard I have used in the last 20 years to something different which is frustrating at a minimum. All in all this is going on a shelf and I'm getting a mouse and keyboard I that doesn't angry up my blood. Look elsewhere or be ready to return it.
