I got this webcam to chat with some friends online and to use for making videos. Logitech great job it has not failed me yet. It works amzing, the face tracking it great it allows me to review a product and not have to ajust the camera. It records sound great, its got amazing hd quality, and the right light technology is very useful to have. I was enitially hesitant to buy because of the price but its a small price to pay for the best webcam on earth.

We needed a good webcam to use with Skype to talk to me family in the mid-west. I bought this one because it is motorized (I like gadgets) and was surprised at how nice the picture was.
I would recommend it highly.

With Windows Live messenger, it really works well, even if you move around The autofocus, autozoom, and automatic face tracking (for one person or multiple) all function quite effectively. They're not perfect -- there's a little jerkiness in some situations, and you can "fool" them if you try -- but together they amazingly well, for this price range.
Thanks to the excellent lens and software (auto-brightness, auto-white-balance, etc.), the picture quality seems outstanding.
