There are not clear written instructions of how the parts works together. You should not assume that everyone knows about speakers and how to put them together. It does not say anything in the written material about the slot with the musical slot in the back of the speaker. What do I plug into that hole? Or do I use that when listening to music on the internet. Or when do I insert something into the Musical slot where the button is covering it up?

This is not just for laptops. I use it as my main desktop speaker system, and the quality is top notch.
It's right under my monitor with the satellite speakers extended to size up with the monitors length, and looks great. The 3 behind-the-back of the unit USB ports are great, along with the cable management, and then added two more ports of my own with some Logitech USB mounts. :)
Pick one up, you will be surprised with it's quality, and enjoy the added bonus of sprucing up your desk.

These speakers do not amplify enough. The volume control is tied to the Windows volume control, so when Windows is at 100% volume, you're done -- even though the speakers could easily handle more output. The result is a large space-consuming unit that doesn't do as good a job as much smaller, battery-powered speakers.

wish they could have expanded the length just an inch or two more (longest length it can be adjusted to is 20 inches) because i have a big screen laptop.

I absolutely love this product. For the price, the speakers work phenominally. Easy to install and the USB hubs and cord prongs definitely make my desk look nicer.

I have this installed under my Dell 2405FPW 24" monitor and everyone thinks it was designed for the monitor. It sounds great and provides me additional USB ports that I can use and run the cables through the monitor cable routing system.

Like another reviewer, I hoped the Audiohub would fit neatly under my laptop stand. And it does! It's the iRizer laptop stand, set where I like it, at a 50 degree angle. What a neat package: all you see are the actual speakers peeking out at either side of my computer.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased this item in hopes it will work correctly, however it doesn't.
It makes a lovely crackling and popping noise every once and a while and randomly shuts itself off in the middle of my movies which requires me to get up, unplug it, plug it back in and restart my movie because the sound will not play once unplugged without restarting the application (VLC Media player).
I give this product 1 star and do not recommend it to anyone. I don't understand why it wont work properly... I run a 2 month old Toshiba Laptop with Windows Vista.

Just received the Audio Hub today and all I can say is WOW!!! Listening to an old Cream album as I review this and it is sounding GREAT on my laptop. Fantastic depth and bass...NO distortion, and plenty of volume. Only improvement that I could suggest of Logitech is that I also bought the Logitech Alto Express Notebook Stand for my laptop, hoping that the speaker system would neatly fit under the laptop/stand...dosen't...Almost, but not quite! the cord winding ears on the back of the speakers prevent what could otherwise be a really neat package. Regardless, these speakers for the price, and quality of sound are awsome! Think I'll pack-up the laptop and the Audio Hub and go down to my favorite little local pub and rock the bar for a little while!!!! Rock On

I being a logitech fan And already owning the best PC speakers in the world the Logitech Z 5500's had to give the audio hub a try for my Dell Laptop and I was not disappointed.This was another great buy for me thanks to my friends at Logitech.

Just got it for Christmas and it works great, Vista found it and applied the drivers. Great sound and it will save my laptop speakers from cracking.
