I have had this wireless headset for over a year, close to 2 years and I have never had a problem. The charge still lasts over 8 hours, turns on/off no problems, many functional lights to let you know if it is muted, low charge, etc. I use this for Call of Duty and it works great, noise canceling feature is not as good as proclaimed but for the most part when I don't have the game volume so high it is shaking the house then it is fine. This is by far the best headset I have owned and Logitech makes some of the best gaming products.

I recently bought (and returned) the Datel wired headset for PS3. After finding so many issues with that, I exchanged it for the "Logitech Cordless Vantage Headset for PlayStation 3" and couldn't be happier!
If you appreciate the design and comfort of a wired headset (the kind that goes above or behind your head), then this WIRELESS headset is for you!
Logitech nailed it right on by providing a headset that comfortably fits behind (or over) your head and is built with the boom style mic (it wraps around your cheek from your ear to your mouth). When I was using my bluetooth headset from my phone, people were complaining they couldn't hear me and honestly, the thing hurt my ear after a while. The Logitech headset is extremely comfortable, I can hear everybody PERFECTLY fine and they can hear me too!
The style of the headset is a sleek, shiny black plastic. The ear piece and mic rotate almost a complete 360 degrees. The light button on the side of the ear piece has multiple functionalities. First (and most obvious) if you hold it in, it turns the headset on/off. Then, if you push it up/down it acts as a volume control. With the power on, if you press the button it will mute the mic (another GREAT feature not present on many of the other wired PS3 mics). This button also possesses multiple functions for other volume controls and pairing the device with your PS3. The light for the button changes several different colors to show if it's on/off, if the battery is low, if it's muted, charging, connected, etc.
Setup for the Logitech wireless headset requires a little more work than a wired headset because you first have to pair it up with the PS3 using bluetooth. After pairing your headset, you simply need to go into the Audio Settings on your PlayStation 3 and change the input and output to the Vantage Headset.
Finally, charging the headset is quite simple. There are no batteries to install and all you have to do is plug the included charger into the headset and the other end into a standard electrical outlet. Logitech claims over 12 hours of play time when fully charged,at that's about accurate.
Recently, after 1 1/2 years of using it, it no longer holds the charge and dies after about 3 hours. I'm hoping Logitech can do something to rectify this!

I've used a bunch of headsets for my PS3. If you want to go wireless then this is the best you can do. Forget about trying to use a cell phone headset. You can wear this one for hours and it won't hurt your head or ear. The microphone is works great. You'll often forget that you're even wearing this headset and that is exactly how it should be. I wish It gave slightly better audio quality but the audio it does put out does the job.

I have only a few qualms with this headset:
1 - After hours (and I mean HOURS) of use, it can began to create a pressure point that is unbearable, but that's with ANY headset I've ever used.
2 - The noise cancellation feature isn't that great. I play Call of Duty a lot, and I play Free-for-All, and the headset picks up when I call in UAVs and Airstrikes, so the other people can hear it. (And my volume setting on PS3 is down on 1) but the mic can be really senative at times.
Other than that, I traded in 3 games to get this at a pretty decent price at GameStop, it was the last one in our city, so I find myself pretty lucky, just days before there were about 10 floating around. Get one!

All in all this is a great headset. The battery life is so much better than smaller headsets marketed for cell phones. It has a great volume button which is easy to find while wearing the headset. The headset is very loud compared to any other headset that I have used and the quality is rather clear as well.
I have only two complaints. First it is very difficult to toggle mute on and off. I really like the mute feature and wouldn't use a headset without it (sometimes I want to eat while I play and people don't need to hear me chew). Unfortunately you have to hold the multifunction button down for quite some time to toggle mute and it is very easy to accidentally change the speaker volume while doing so. Next, if the speaker is turned up too high, the microphone will pick up noise from the speaker. This will cause an echo effect for everyone else. You can easily reduce the echo effect by turning the volume down on the ear piece.
Despite my complaints though. This is the best wireless headset I have used. I would buy it again.
