Bad noise canceling in high noise environment

Date:July 21, 2011
In a computer room, this headset is not noise canceling. When on a call using a VOIP solution, other parties cannot even hear one another until I mute using the VOIP's mute utility. The headset mute switch can't even do it.

Embarrassing

Date:July 20, 2011
I bought these headphones to use with Vonage Companion, which carries my main business number. Sound quality is great, but as soon as I'm on a call, I hear a beep, and the caller's voice simply goes away. Then after 4-5 seconds I get another beep and it's back. They have done this multiple times even though the headphones are less than 5 feet away from the USB receiver. You can't do business using headphones that cut out on your clients, especially after spending $99. I took them back and I'm trying the WIRED H530. Hopefully I'll have better luck.

Great sound, mobility, when it works.

Date:June 25, 2011
This headset provides excellent sound, incoming and outgoing. My friends say my voice is clear, the sound provided to myself soild. It's range is hearty, as I can easily go 30 feet from my computer and maintain a strong signal.
The downfall of this is 2 things. After a few months the battery's ability to hold a long charge fails. What really impacts this is the means of charging. As the tip of the charging cord is plastic, it starts to have issues with seating properly, which causes failure in charging. Now one can sit and keep it plugged in, which is not totally desireable, but keeps the headset working... though the issue of the charger plug mitigates this.

Really let down by Logitech

Date:June 21, 2011
I have been using Logitech products for over 20 years and I have to say that the quality has really gone down over the last 3-4 years. I have purchased 5 sets of headphones over the last 3 years and all have had problems within 6 months, some within 2 months of purchase. 4 sets of the headphones were wired USB and one side would stop working, the last set that I purchased was wireless because I figured that without wires maybe they would last longer, notta, even the wireless ones have broken. I am done with Logitech, I wont buy any more Logitech products.

left ear phone and audio are poor

Date:May 26, 2011
I'm disappointed in the range on the wireless head set. It's too short. The sound in the left ear keeps kicking in and out while I'm trying to listen - not good when you are trying to listen to your customers. Intermittently my voice starts to "vibrate" and what I'm hearing does as well - don't know how to describe it. I thought it might be a low battery, but this happens even when I have the headset plugged in. Worse money I have ever spent! Went back to the old style wired headset. I really expected so much better from Logitech.

No Sound from Left Ear

Date:May 16, 2011
I have had these for 6 months now. Absolutely love them except for the left ear sound going out. I was able to move the left earpiece around to get it to work for a few months but today it finally went out completely. Since I new I was going to trash them I went ahead and took them apart and noticed the wires were pinched inside causing the issue. Mine was finally pinched off completely.
Anyways another gripe was the audio feedback feature was removed from this model so when you talk you can't hear hourself at all. I like this kind of feedback but some others may not. Wish the next model will bring back the audio feedback and fix the wire issue. I'm not giving up with logictech! Come on guys...get it right for your next model!

It would have been better if they weren't so pricy

Date:May 12, 2011
When you first get these, they are practically gold. They have wireless capabilities, no installation required, it's a dream come true. However, they is about the best thing about them. These headphones win the record for "fastest headphones to stop working" I've ever had. What's worse, is that I didn't have the excuse that I bent the wires or anything so the sound stop working. It just stopped working with the microphone, and then the left ear, and then eventually stopped working in general.
Ordinarily I wouldn't be so upset about that, as things break over time, but seriously? They didn't even last a year, and considering the price, that's a bit absurd. The wireless capabilities weren't that useful.
Overall, a product that needs to be far more durable or far less expensive before I'd recommend to a friend.

Problem with left ear

Date:May 11, 2011
I have had the same problem with the left ear sound. I have to press it against my ear to get it to work. Any chance of getting a response from support?

I'm Very Disappointed

Date:April 28, 2011
Well, I've had the headset for awhile now, and almost from the beginning I lost sound in the Left ear piece. The plug to recharge the headset will not stay in, I have it all taped up to keep it in. I spend hours upon hours every day at my PC. Being able to leave my chair during meetings was a blessing. Now with it all taped it is no better than a very expensive regular headset. I could have gotten 3 good regular headsets for the price of this one. I has made me pull back from purchasing other products from Logitech.

Wish they lasted longer

Date:March 22, 2011
This headset is more comfortable by FAR than any other I've tried. Everyone else has said (until recently) that it sounded better than everyone else's also. That's where the good stops. The left ear died very shortly after getting it, and I have no patience for RMAing things. It's been roughly about a year & 1/2 since I got them, the plug won't stay in anymore (I used to walk around the house & get things done while I chatted to my other half). The headset now sounds horrid & everyone sounds fuzzy to me. It's a shame a headset that's this expensive lasts a shorter time than the $30 pair I bought my son.

Nice, but ...

Date:March 19, 2011
Bought this about a year ago, and after a few months the left earpiece started cutting out. I am using this headset virtually every day, mostly for conference calls, and appreciate the sound quality, as well as okay comfort (not perfect, but a lot better than many others I have tried). Too bad I have to keep twisting the left earpiece all the time, to get it re-connected.

Worst

Date:March 15, 2011
I had bought a pair from Best Buy, loved the idea of it being wireless although it was a bit pricey. After a few weeks the sound in right side went out. Must've been wiring because it would cut in and out, mostly out. Sent the pair back, got another and it did the same thing so I gave up. Also after a while of wear it starts to hurt ears (at least mine). No point in buying something for $100 that you have to keep returning.

Comfortable Design, Terrible Quality

Date:February 25, 2011
This is my third headset purchase from Logitech and I have to say that I am not happy. The first headset was USB wired and in about a year began cutting out if the wire was tilted at all. The second headset was a wireless and purchased used of off Amazon. In only a few weeks the sound started to become distorted ever 30 seconds or so and the microphone input was even worse.
Right out of the box this purchase had distorted sound every few minutes and it wasn't long before the left earpiece began cutting out. I do not believe I will be buying a headset from Logitech again.

ClearChat Comfort USB

Date:February 12, 2011
This is my first product from Logitech and I absolutely love, love, LOVE it! I am a medical transcriptionist, and the clarity is unmatched in any other I have tried. I have purchased a few very expensive ones and preferred some cheaper brands but the price of this headset, the comfort and the sounds all make this a PERFECT BUY!!!!

This pair of headsets was given to me by my nephew at Christmas. Within a couple of weeks the right channel started cutting out. I also own 3 sets of the USB headsets two of which failed at the USB connector due to a lack of stress relief, which is why I recived these in the first place. So as it stands I own 4 Logitech headsets of which only one works properly. At this time I can't recommend these products.

Good, dependale headphones

Date:January 12, 2011
I've been using these headphones for 6 months now and really like them thus far. I sound clear on calls and through programs like Ventrillo. The charge lasts a good 5-6 hours.
If I could change anything about them, they'd charge via USB instead of the plastic charger, and part covering your ears would be larger. After wearing these for an extended period of time, my ears become sore.
I'd definitely recommend them to a friend.

Good Headset

Date:November 24, 2010
I have been using this headset for well over a year now with no problems. The sound quality is fine enough for my use and gaming. I do find myself adjusting the headphone size often. They should be a little harder to move. The switch on the side sometimes has to be turned on and of several times to get the USB receiver to connect. Otherwise, it has been a great headset. Light weight and comfortable. I don't use the cordless function often and tend to use it as a wired headset. Battery life is a little short.
