What bass?

This speaker set has what is quite possibly the worst subwoofer in the history of subwoofers. The speakers are ok... as a matter of fact, I think the satellite speakers output more bass than the subwoofer does. Logitech should probably stop selling these because they are giving them a bad name. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money.

got them for a great price thru Newegg, but disappointed with the quality of the bass speaker, can hardly hear it. other 2 speakers sound good, but without a strong bass the experience is severely diminished. not worth the effort to return them but would definately not buy them again or recommend them.

First and last logitech product

I've had these since the middle of the summer and my right speaker isn't working. Doesn't seem like good quality to me. Maybe i bought a bad pair. But the sound on these are OK. Some songs that i listen to do not sound the same on these speakers because these speakers do not catch each and every sound that creates the song.

Better than expected for the price

Great for the price. The speaker cable attaching to the sub woofer needs to be longer. I had to buy an extension. Otherwise no complaints.

These speakers are worth EVERY penny! I bought them to play music in my apartment in college. Now they dont blow your ears off or bother the neighbors, but they work great. I've had them for a year and since day one they have been played as loud as they would go and I've had no problems. They can become distorted when at max volume but if you back off just a little they sound crisp and clear. The 3' inch subwoofer sounds better than i expected.
This is a great system for small apartments or bedrooms and would be great for online game play.

At first they were good but after i got the Logitech Z623 and z5500 i compared them
LS21: computer plugin only, 6 out of 10 treble, too much distortion
Z623: Multiple plugins, 10 out of 10 treble, little distortion
Z5500: Multiple plugin, 8 outof 10 treble, no distortion at all
regular music listener. LS21
lot of money to waste and likes to feel every bit of bass. z5500
little money to waste but wants good quality good bass: Z623 is the answer

Just over a year of owning these speakers and the subwoofer developed a horrible rattling sound. The cone doesn't look like it is blown, but it sure sounds like it.

The LS21 2.1 speaker system has a decent sound quality for its price but it has one fault when the bass is set to its max the sub-woofer start to produce a weird sound but for the at which they are being sold i can't complaint.So i would like to recommend it to anyone who need a decent speaker system but don't want to pay too much.

Great speakers overall! I love music and these speakers will do if you like loud, great quality music. Of course it won't be studio quality speakers but they do fill the room with music. The only down side is that there is not protection for the actual speaker. You can poke the speaker itself which can be damaging if you have kids. Otherwise, highly recommend.

The Logitech LS21 2.1 Stereo Speaker System is amazing as far as the quality of audio is concerned. I have put it to the test playing songs in rock to hip hop to jazz...and still the audio quality comes out amazing! The subwoofer is amazing as well! You can hear the bass very well in each song; and that contributes to the overall sound that I hear....overall, I will gladly recommend this product to anyone buying a speaker system. This is worth spending your money! Logitech has done very well! Kudos to that company!

It works but not a great design.

Its the cheapset set with a subwoofer. You get what you pay for. Easily fills house with sound but not for a party.
PROS:Cheap, small, subtle bass, wired remote, did I mention affordable.
CONS: No line-in which is a must have it you want to use this for more than one audio device mp3 or computer, distortion at highest levels, non-expandable unless you buy splitters.

The Treble is awful since unboxed and started up, cables are really bad quality (have to move the green 3.5mm plug to make both speakers work), gets muffled and distorted if loud AND.... bass is the only thing that's the best.

Nice speakers, but...

Beautiful speakers, bought them a couple days ago. Nice setup, ultra comfortable, good cable management. Nice sound, but if you are a hardcore sound enthusiasts dont buy these. Bass sound is not so powerful, and with high volume you will get distortion. Ideal for small rooms! :)

I bought the LS 21 with sub woofer speakers for my mini - tower and laptop computers, and I am quite safisfied. The sound is very clear and works well with both units. I whole heartly recommend this set for any one seeking an inexpensive quality speaker set unit. Thanks.

Had my Logitechs for 3 years

For the price of $20.00 on sale three years ago and even $30.00 today, I would highly recommend the speakers. Of course they are not Bose, or JVC Speakers but for the price they deliver a sound with adequate base and quality . Much better then the computer speakers that is for sure. I purchased 4 sets of speakers four
years ago and three are still working fine. I have used one set as a travel set when I am on business for a little home away from home with music.

Don't waste your cash!!!!

I have had these speakers now for about 20 min and they are the worst speakers that i could have wasted my money on. My older speakers that where not from as well known brand as Logitech are 10 yrs old and only the one speaker is still working and it delivers better sound quality than this set. The satellites allow for better base generation than the speaker that is in the sub unit.
Logitech should recall this range!!!!

This speakers sound like garabage and the sub is less then what was expected. The sub sounds more like a tweeter. This set is terrible. Do not buy!!!!!!!!!
