It turns off every two minutes, unless you're lucky! This makes the device practically useless. I've read every solution available, but none of them helped.

this is a great speaker but, the battery runs out within an hour you have to charge it constantly, the sound quality is great but, the buttons wear really fast and break, causing the volume to malfunction. Now that my battery is dead i can only use it on ac power and now i have to be careful as to how i set the speaker on the floor because it will turn off if not on a even surface or if the cord is bent. the shuffle buttom never worked. the plus side about this is that it charges ur ipod while u play if its connected to ac power.

I bought this (an older model) over three years ago. I've traveled all over the world and this has gone with me to the most remote places. I have experienced some issues but most likely due to age; shorter battery life, occasional static in the left speaker, shuts off unexpectadly.
Pros: Long battery life Rechargable battery Aux 3.5mm input (can be used with a laptop, MP3 player or anything else with an output jack Lightweight Great sound quality Durable Protective case 110-220 adapter (can be used in any country. Need own converter plugs)
Cons: The only cons I have are due to age.
Summary: I highly recommend this system to anybody. It is a GREAT value for the money! I will buy this unit again!

I purchased this to replace an older version of the same product. The sound is not nearly as good. The older lasted going back and forth to the beach, the pool, deck and parties. This model had a problem with recharging after a few months. Very disappointed.

This is pretty much what I want in a portable speakers. It is high quality, good, loud sounds, and great for travelling. So it is basically what you need to bring on your vacation or picnics. It is a great product. And here comes the "but..." part It would be much better if there is a button to change the bass settings and all other features. I wish that it has a radio antenna, or at least an alarm clock for it's price. But overall, it's a great product that's capatible with every devices. You can plug in a connector and you can also play music from other music players or devices that doesnt work eith the 30pin dock. About the battery, i havent fully tested it yet. But it definitely passed the 3 hours test.

I got given these speakers as a gift and they were great but after 2 months of use I now have to keep them plugged in when playing music because it honestly dies within 10 minutes fully charged now. Also sometimes it randomly stops playing for no reason and have to press on the volume again, otherwise it plays good sounding music.

I have had these speakers for 18 months. I have used it without being plugged in about 10 times. It has worked for about 45 minutes each time. However, now, it will not work at all without being plugged in.
I do love them inside my house because they are small and don't take up alot of room but are as loud as I would ever want them in my house.
My remote works great.
The reason I did buy these however was for the rechargeable battery system and I am disappointed that it doesn't work!

I had logitech's predecessor to this speaker and loved it for years (incidentally it got run over by a CAR at one point and continues to work like new to this day). I finally chose to update to one with a rechargeable battery and was floored by all the extras this model provided. I especially love the rechargeable battery; it lets me enjoy my ipod in the car on cross-country trips without shelling out for batteries. It's so easy to stick it in my backpack and provide music when my friends get together. Fantastic product!

If your looking for a high quality portable sound for your Ipod, that is lightweight and with rechargeable batteries, you can't beat this product. I have another Ipod sound product that cost 6 times as much, weighs 6 times as much and sounds maybe a little better, but not even close to six times better. I have been in prof. sound for decades, so believe me, for the $ it is a great sound value.

I recieved this speaker system for my birthday 2 years ago and I've taken it everywhere! To the beach, friends house, and practice. But after having it for so long the buttons on the stock started to crack and break. It's mainly the power and volume buttons ( - +) My + button just broke off and you can see the others are starting to crack. Overall its a good system but with someone who likes to listen to music alot, well the buttons aren't the best thing.

I've had this speaker for a while now, and I love it. I love the fact it can hold a nice long charge, and I can put my iPod in it, but it in my backpack and walk around. The "3D Sound" button is incredible. It really makes the sound quality even better. Nice job guys!

Would say by now there are alot of choices when it comes to finding an ipod/iphone speaker set. I have several Logitech products so I gave them a chance with this purchase and like my other products I am happy with it. This is a decent buy for the money and very user friendly. I use mine outside and the sound travels well. Would recomend and would buy again.

I got it as a gift. The sound is decent, actually. It's good for the desktop to listen to stuff not too loud while you do some work. The simulated surround effect gives it another dimension to the sound which is kinda nice, you can hear some of the music echo off the wall nicely. It charges whatever it has connected to it at the same time. The problem is the remote. I have the iPhone3GS, and it doesn't quite work the same way as you would normally navigate the menus. I hit shuffle to listen to some tunes, and when I tried to get out of it to get to a playlist just to play that list, I had to go to the phone and touch, because the remote doesn't know how to get out of the shuffle. I hit the buttons on the remote like Menu and the arrows to move around, it wouldn't do it. I wouldn't recommend this machine to too many people, I really don't see the point of this machine, actually, you're better off buying external speakers to connect with the jack, especially in this day and age, I doubt too many people travel without their laptops anyway, so just having a decent set of speakers to hook up to your laptop with the jack is a better idea, and most people have headphones too these days anyways. Why do you need this contraption in addition to everything else you already carry with you? You don't.

I purchased two of these. Mostly just use the one in the cabin. It randomly turns off while playing in the middle of a song, I thought it was my I Pod. Turned out to be the Pure Fi anywhere ll. They both do it. I see online that other people have the same problem. I have not been able to find a solution on the troubleshooting page.

like many others I also have problems with battery. Anyway I found solution. I took battery from UPS (it's important that voltage is 12 V and electric power is about 2Amp), and connected it on speakers by power adapter ( cut the wires and connect it). I recomend this to you if you don't have warranty. By this way it's a little hevyier but you can listen music at least for 2 days at maximum level. You can also charge your UPS battery by logitech's speakers adapter. P.S. watch out when you play it on rainy or dampy weather ... the electronic parts won't work for long.
