It's okay...

The install and software are the best parts of this product. I have two camera's. Limited distance and no night vision. Too bad. Motion detection is under sensitive at 50+ feet and over sensitive at other times. For limited distance and a well lit area it's great. I dont' know how it's going to stand up to the cold yet.

Limited - but neat when it works

Seems to be limited to indoor use or shorter ranges. I've been trying really hard to get it to work on our dock in the backyard (on lake) and on our gate on the front driveway. It doesn't seem to like any of our AC outdoor outlets. So we can't get a camera connection on the AC outlet on Dock or at frontgate. Picture quality is "fair" at best, you can't see a license number on a car, or boat or a persons face. But it's fun to watch while I'm working downstairs and can't see outside. Just a bummer it's not working for my needs. = (

This is decent system, works great in the day. very easy to setup. load the latest version of the firmware. I only have one camera so far and have not mounted it outside so through a window its pretty clear. As the other reviewer said night vison it does not have.

Great easy install of six Outdoor cameras

Easy system to install. Remote viewing could use some upgrades.Also please release Firmware 2.5 with New systems. by far the best reliable product on the market.I Cant wait to see what else Logitech delivers.

I looked around to find the easiest with medium price range security system. This one has it.
Pro's ..easy to install, good performance and software, email notificaitons, and internet access.
Con's... cant see at night, no low light performance, no sound,cant veiw cameras over new Iphone 3GS,

For the price is good but Logitech should work on a camera system like this with night vision and sound.Also Iphone ready software

I would like to see the outdoor camera with an enclosed, longlife battery or hard wired as opposed to an electrical plug. It's very easy to disable this camera by simply unplugging it. I've kept mine inside and directed it out a window, but it loses some of it's efficiency using it this way. For the money, it's a good system and I would recommend it for outdoor use where the electrical plug was not easily accessible.

Have had camera installed for a few days now and it is working excellent. Simply install software, plug-in camera and you are all setup. Now this camera is advertised as an outdoor system, so i am waiting to see the performance in extreme cold and wet conditions. I live in Canada so the big test will be in the winter months, so i will comment on this in the next 8-9 months.. Great value for your dollar so far.

Simple and easy to hook up

Very simple and easy to hook up right out of box. Load software, plug camera into outlet, plug usb adapter into outlet and computer. Boot software, and it will walk you through it and u are ready to go.. Wilife online seems to work well and viewing your cameras offsite is simple and works well
