Does exactly what it says
Date:April 12, 2011
Really good product, especially for the price. I mainly use my Macbook Pro 15" laying down... (sitting at a desk for 9 hours a day is enough for me) and had the problem of the aluminium case getting way to hot on my legs (i7). The logitech n100 actually makes my legs cold now, as the fan blows both above and below. CPU temp has dropped from about 42C to 38C on idle. Only thing this is lacking that would be useful is a variable speed switch and perhaps a second fan, but for the price it does a very good job.

Not good for gaming computers
Date:January 5, 2011
This is a great product for on-the-go people who use their computers to write and browse the web, but is not ideal for heavy gamers like myself. The reason for this (if you looked at the specifications) is that the 'Laptop cooling pad N100' only uses about 200ma power, compared to a lot of the other products that logitech has: 500ma.
Overall, I would not recommend this to other gamers, but if your not going to use this for gaming, then this is a great, mid-priced cooling pad.

Need more fan speed
Date:October 19, 2010
This is a good buy. After I bought it, I recommended same to my fiancee who bought it one week after. More speed and one more fan aligned vertically down from the upper fan would make the product better. My laptop still heats my palms as no air supply under the area where I put my palms. To top it, a stylish blue light around the cooler pad would improve the product appeal as I use it with my stylish acer aspire 6935G, which has decorative blue lights.

Good, but needs improvement
Date:August 6, 2010
I really like the sturdy build and the overall design of this product. However, it is in need of a couple improvements. Most importantly, it needs a second fan. The pad can't completely cool my laptop with only one fan. The second option needed is fan-speed control. The single fan might do the trick if I could increase the fan speed, but I would recommend having that option even with a second fan. I know that would make the pad a little noisier but I think it's a fair trade-off, especially with only one fan. Also, Logitech needs to include some more colors, like navy blue. Overall I think this is a good product, but it isn't completely efficient at cooling my laptop, which is a concern for someone living in a place as hot as Phoenix.

Excellent Product that Works with 17+" Notebooks
Date:June 27, 2010
I have a HP 17.3" Display Notebook computer that it works fine with it even though the Specs state it is for a 15.6" display. A Staples Tech Support personnel staff member and I tried on a 17.3" Display Notebook computer in the store before I I purchased it. I like the simplistic look and design of this product. My Notebook feels stable on it. My one suggestion is that Logitech put not-slip feet on all four corners of the product because the back feet are very slippery.

Impossible to clean
Date:June 13, 2010
This is truly a great design. it works and is amazing. But when it comes to cleaning the fan...
firstly you need to destroy the bottom(leaving a product that scratches anything you put it on)to get to two screws. and once you think you got it, no. You will find 2 final screws that are IMPOSSIBLE to get at making it IMPOSSIBLE to get in and give it a good cleaning. This is a great product but whoever designed it was a dummy. I'm left with dust that needs to be washed off to be removed because air won't work, but because of screws positioned directly under plastic that would have to be destroyed to get at, this product after a while is garbage and disgusting to look at.
Find another product if you like to keep things clean. this one won't let you.

Date:May 27, 2010
I have a macbook pro 15.4" it was starting to get very very hot (the point of burning me), so after some search I found this product.
Its a good price and is very simple to use, my laptop is now cold and running at a better speed because of it.

Logitech Cooling Pad N100
Date:May 1, 2010
Pros: fan is very quiet lightweight USB connector Easy to keep clean The ergonomic design Slip resistant design so your computer will not slide off the cooling pad device
Con: Not an option to run the device on batteries and while connected to laptop/notebook USB port. Needs two fans (when you run your computer device for an excessive time period and running many computer programs). Most Dell laptops/notebooks do not have their built-in fans in the same location as this Logitech Cooling Pad N100. Other color options (black or silver).

I'm very impressed by this product. I only envisioned Logitech making computer hardware. I use this on my lap and it feels like the cooling fan and position work well. Once you try this product, you will want to keep it. Enjoy!

Perfect Unit
Date:March 26, 2010
I bought this unit for my 15.6 inch Dell. It's the perfect size and puts the computer at an ideal angle on my desktop. That being said, this unit does not have enough power to cool a high performence laptop that creates a great deal of heat. For that I would suggest a dual fan model with a high setting. However, if like me you have a more basic laptop that runs fairly cool, this is the perfect item. I would also say that Logitechs service was great. I ordered the unit from them and three days later it was on my front porch.

It Works Great
Date:February 8, 2010
Right from the moment I plugged it in, I could feel the warm air pouring out of the vents on the back of my laptop. It's quiet, and it does it's job. And it's a good value for the price. Bottom line, I like it. I'm very pleased with the N100. And it has the simplest manual to understand of any computer accesory I've ever purchased. I wish it also came in a larger size, as I have a 2nd laptop in a 17 inch size, and I'd like to get a cooling pad for that one as well.

Does what is says
Date:January 4, 2010
I was looking after a portable, easy to use, ergonomic cooling pad for my laptop. One of the most important aspects was the positioning of the fan. It is necessary for me to be positioned in such way that it would cool down my laptop even if it is on the bed or my lap, so it's rear air intake is best for this. Well, i found this perfect for my needs. The nice design is also attractive. It's not a super cooler, but it keeps my laptop over it's standards, avoiding overheating because of the placement of my laptop on the bed or other soft surfaces. Because of it's design, the hot air is effectively blown away. USB powered, silent, does what is says.

very "cool" cooling pad
Date:September 16, 2009
I'm a big fan of logitech and a reader of online reviews. This product gets 5 out of 5 stars! Cooling pad are always a hard pick because most are junk, NOT this one, it is build solid, quiet and works. I'm currently using macbook and I'm an online gamer. If you’re looking for a cool pad this is the one. The only think I would change is maybe adding an usb hub. Hat off to logitech once again. Great JOB!

Price per performance is bad

It good because of the huge gap in the middle section of the cooler. Problem is the fan is too weak and always depend of the notebook layout.

Very comfortable
Date:July 18, 2009
I like this design alot but I'm sad that the fan doesn't push out enough air. If you are using a gaming laptop and need it to stop over heating i would not recommend this product. My computer still get very hott. So if you want something that wont overdrive your computer and is comfortable then this would do. but that about it.

Excellent !
Date:June 17, 2009
I used to use a laptop table as I like to watch TV and use PC for hours on end. This is an excellent replacement and simple tool to ensure my legs don't get warm or have the PC overheat. The fan works great and does the job without additional noise. No need for higher speeds etc.. I am not sure what others are referring to with regard to this.

Great Design...Not much power
Date:June 1, 2009
Although I love the slick design and its comfort on my lap... like many of the reviews before the fan isn't as strong as I thought it would have. Previously owning an Antec cooling pad with two fans, I thought that the logitech would provide a better and longer lasting one. Although the fan is relatively quiet... it is also relatively not at full blast. I suggest that logitech make one with two fans instead of one for better performance
