They worked OK for a couple of months, but they broke in half after a couple of months and because I'm careless. They are very fragile on the sliding bar on the back, not enough plastic to hold them together for too long.

The sound quality and comfort is good, but these headsets are very fragile. My first one I put the headsets down from my head to the table the plastic behind the head of the headset snapped in half. I bought a second pair and was extra careful with them but my sister broke them while i was away from my computer for 1 minutes.

Had and used these headphones for over a year and definitively worth what I payed for them. I dropped them, sat on them and even tugged on the cord on a few occasions; They still work like and the first day I got them and it shows no signs of warring down yet... except the mute switch
I originally got them because I like the style, they work well since I ware glasses. The large swing arc of the mic and bendable mic boom was defiantly a plus too.
The only problem I had with it is the mute switch that got harder to use over time, It would click but unless shoved all the way it would not mute. After a year or so of forcing it something inside broke and now it wont click or mute, it just drops with gravity

I've had my G330 headset for several months now, and at first I quite liked it. The audio quality is nice and the comfort is VERY nice.
Unfortunately, the durability of the product is something which leaves little desire. As a long time Logitech supporter, I'm sad to see this. I've had great products from Logitech that have lasted MUCH longer than expected.
Currently, my headset is cracked along the behind-the-head adjustment area and is very loose on the left speaker. It is still usable, but I feel it is only time before it breaks for good.
The next time I buy a headset I'll definitely spend a little more cash on something that can last.

I really liked this headset to start with, they're pretty comfortable, the microphone works great, they sound pretty good. But after a few months, the built in volume control stopped working correctly where now, unless I fiddle with it a ton, the sound comes through clear on the left, but is substantially lower and/or staticy on the right. Really annoying! I thought they were well built to start with, but time has shown otherwise.

OK so I have had this G330 gaming headset for some time a year maybe or around that. I picked it up at Bestbuy and initially liked the headset a lot it worked great and still does. Until a week ago a slick gel started to ooze from under the rubber and then with almost no effort the plastic joint NOT the side where it expands the fixed portion just fell apart shreds of plastic scattered over my desk I see the screws inside still in place not broken. The plastic surrounding it was defective or eaten away by this goo. The bits I touched on my desk were so brittle that they turned to dust rubbing between my fingers, plastic shouldn't fall apart like a clump of sand in your hand.
The goo I gather is to give the red rubber that soft feel. Just never had anything disintegrate like that in my hands before most certainly is a manufacturing defect in the plastic.
If you buy this headset be prepared to become an expert with crazy glue and don't expect that to last long either.

My Second Headsets
Pros: - Comfort - Audio Quality - Doesn't mess up hair after extended use - One of a kind (which is a surprise)
Cons: - Durability (more detail on review)
I like this headsets a lot, and I mean a lot. How much? Let's just say that I'm on my second one and I think I would buy again for the third time if no one make a more durable one.
Why the second and third time? Because this headset can't take drop abuse that happens quite often in my case. The plastic casing behind the neck portion splits and eventually separates the headsets in two (hanging only by the headphone's wire.
Don't take me wrong, this thing hang on for quite a bit until I have decided to retire the first one. However, the same thing happens on the second. The plastic starting to break. The first one last about a year (got it for Christmas and I replaced it at around the same time the next year. The second one also starting to split at the exact same weakness a year later.
Why do I put up to this? Let's just say there isn't any other gaming headsets that has behind the neck design period. I don't get why people do not make more of this design. I don't think getting your hair squished down after extended use is a good look.
I wish Logitech would listen and make the same design out of a more durable material. I'd pay premium for it.

I got my headset for Christmas. This was my first gaming headset I had ever received. The first problem I encountered was the ridiculous cord length (it got caught on several things). Next I plugged in the USB extension only to find that it was completely non-functioning. I took the separate mic and headphone plugs and put them into my laptop. no matter what I did to my input or output settings the mic refused to work and disabled my built-in mic while any part of the headset was in. The headphone aspect is amazing but with only that one working feature I do NOT recommend this to anyone else.

I love this thing. Audio sounds great enough that I actually had to take these things off just to check if the speakers were still on. Handles surround sound like a champ.
The ergonomics are great, and I'd sometimes forget I actually had them on!
But here is the reason I cannot give this thing a full five stars: the Inline Audio Control. Since the headset itself is so light, I sometimes feel the little black brick tug on my left ear when it drops off my leg.
And the worst thing about the controller is that it's shaped in a way that it kept getting caught on the corner of my chair. Eventually, the audio in the right ear gave up due to this fatal design flaw.
I love this thing, but this inline audio controller is killing any use I have with this thing.
I know it's my fault for allowing it to repeatedly get caught, but since it's hanging about a foot or two from the headset itself, it's bound to get caught on something a few times.
But... a few times is all you need to render this thing useless.

The USB dongle is atrocious, it constantly garbles the sound quality of everything I hear, it is absolutely a piece of garbage. The rest of the headset is fine although with out the USB dongle the mic seems to be very quiet. If you do get this just through the USB dongle in the trash and save your self the headache.

I bought this headset last week, since my previous one stopped working, and had some strange ear-killing "noise" going through the mic. I typically wouldn't buy a behind-the-neck headset, but this one convinced me. I had to choose between a bulky over the ear Plantronics headset or this one, as they were the same price at a local Future Shop store.
The headset feels a bit flimsy, but I guess it's due to its feature of it forming around the user's head. My previous Logitech headset was a Logitech Precision headset, which also goes behind the neck. It was MASSIVE, and extremely uncomfortable (flipping the headset upside-down was more comfortable than right-side up.) but this one, the G330, is lightweight, well-padded on the speakers as well as the plastic-silicone band, and is adjustable, relieving pressure on my head.
If your only choice is a behind-the head design, I would suggest this one.
an added bonus is the decent colour combination that comes with it, Red and black go along well.

Breaks At The Back
Over the last year and half I have purchased two of these and handled both with care. The overall design, sound quality and comfort of the headset is excellent, with the exception of the back of the headset which has broken apart at the same point on both headsets after around 6 months of use (see attached image).
I would still recommend the headset to others but would advise caution because of this small design flaw.

Used for ventrilo on my Imac with the included usb adapter. Hooked them over the top edge of my comp and the heat seems to have dissolved the adhesive under the red silicone liner causing the headband plastic to crumble and fall apart. Volume at highest is a bit low but otherwise these are a good set for the price. Comfortable and durable, just keep them away from heat. Works fine with OSX Snow Leopard.

The headset is very comfortable for hours of continuous use. The earpiece is comfortable and does not rub. It is not tight around the head with the adjustable band. The inline controls are nice, however the mute slider should be a button. My computer is below the desk and the mute has been turned on when it slides against the keyboard tray on occassion. My biggest disappoint is the right earpiece broke off just days after the 1 year warranty expired. I have it duct taped until I can afford another one.

This headset could survive a tornado blasting through your house. You could throw it on the floor 40 times and still have crystal clear audio. But every once in a while, something internally goes wrong. My first set of these had odd crackling noises, got a replacement for that. My second one, the mic stopped working. But I still LOVE the sound quality and durability of it not breaking. 4/5
