Hello Logitech, I have to say you make some nice products but this one was a bit of a let down.
The previous model was way better. It had the 'TAB' button which was great especially when you have to work on excel on a daily basis like me.
Why on earth is there a 'CLEAR' button? why replace the 'TAB' which was so much better!
There already is a 'BACK' button.
Would you consider bringing back the 'TAB' button in the next generation? I hope so.

I found using the keyboard on my laptop for gaming, tiring, and difficult, so I bought the Wireless Number Pad N305, re-bound the common controls of my favorite games to various keys on the numberpad and off I went. Since I already have a Performance Mouse M950 / MX I already had the unifying receiver, so I popped some fresh batteries in the Wireless Number Pad N305, switched it on, went into the "Logitech Setpoint" program, opened the "Unifying Software", followed the prompts and began using it, hooked up in less than a minute, how easy is that!!! I'm using AAA Lithium batteries in it at present, so hopefully, as long as I remember to switch it off when I'm not using it, they should last for quite a few years to come.

This is a great keypad for my laptop. I'm already using a unifying receiver for the mouse so just one USB port used for both the mouse and keypad is VERY convenient. Disregard the MAC user who could've done some research before buying would see that it is NOT MAC compatible as this keypad deserves no less than 4 stars. It's a little annoying for my laptop as a display notification pops up on my screen to show that it's turning NUM LOCK on and off as it's being used, but that's just my laptop. I type up a lot of numbers for work and when I'm away from the office, this keypad is a necessity for my laptop.

Sturdy, makes life so much easier. I use numbers a lot so this comes in so handy. Have it about 6 months now, and still haven't needed to change the batteries, though i do turn it off at night, when i remember. Love the programmable buttons. Would love to have one more though, other than that it is perfect.

I Like the number pad and it works great on Windows, unfortunately I can't use it on my MAC Book Pro. How hard would it have been to make it work with Apple Laptops???
