This product gets used every day. It is the best lap-desk ever. If I were to design one, I wouldn't change a thing. All my friends and peers show interest in it; I give nothing but praise!

I thought of writing a longer title but it was unnecessary. I've owned this since it came out. I actually had one on which the fan actually stopped working - I called Logitech CS and they shipped me out a new one right away - no questions asked. Absolutely love this thing, the sound from the speakers is phenomenal. Amazing quality product - just be careful not to lose the rubber pads!

I have a 17.3 Toshiba Satellite. Its a good fit.It covers some of the speakers but not enough to effect the sound.The USB cord is a little to short but it will work just fine

The weight, comfort, sound, cooling and dimensions are all excellently and eloquently designed. Did I mention the sound? The sound quality is absolutely awesome! In the real world, where physics meets imagination, you couldn't get any better than the Logitech N700. If you're thinking of a lapdesk, this is the one. Don't hesitate.

This thing is awesome. I have had it now for OVER a year and it is still kicking. I need to go buy another one. My wife is uber jealous because she has a 17" notebook and it blocks the speakers so she doesn't like it. So if you have a 17 beware, it barely fits. I have a 15.6 gaming laptop and I actually drilled holes in the bottom of the laptop to get more airflow. This desk drops my GPU temp by about 12 degrees. AWESOME. Basically, this lapdesk has saved my laptop from wear and tear, internal and external, and has been a great investment. I think I spent 80 bucks on it when I first saw it come out. Man...this thing is amazing. I wonder if they'll come out with one a little larger for the 17" folks?
I'm definitely taking this thing with me to my Africa deployment, I'm sure it will be a necessity with the heat over there. And the speakers on this thing are nuts!!! Basically my eardrums rattle when this thing is cranked. NOW THAT IS AWESOME! I feel like movies and music come to life. Incredible. I love when people look at me and are like "Turn down your stereo please" and then they realize its the desk. I think people just go out and buy it once they see it in action.

I love this lapdesk! Speakers sound very nice, cooling pad works well / very quiet and it is very comfortable on the lap. My laptop stays on it all of the time. Beautifully designed, thinking about getting another for a spare (just in case I need it later). Would recommend it to anyone. Only thing missing is a reading light, if you need that.

I am very pleased. The speakers sound good for the size, better than my old dell computer speakers. It is easy to use and move around, I keep my laptop on it all the time.

Wow. I bought this product thinking I was going to get a nice lap desk. Boy I was I wrong,I would easily pay 100 dollars for this. This is ridiculously amazing in everyway. The speakers are surprisingly very good. They actually have bass that is very noticeable. They are not cheap speakers. The fan is perfect in every way. The intakes are placed perfectly, it's not loud at at all, and it gets the job done. The buttons have a very tactile response and are coated with a rubberized feel. You can't go wrong buying this product.

My initial thoughts that it was good except that I like to use headphones usually instead of the speakers so that I don't bother others in the room. I saw that several others had the same complaint so I wrote to Logitech support and promptly got a response from them on how to do it. Just go to the control panel, then go to sounds, and you can change the default from the lapdesk speakers to the headphones! Easy peasy.

Got it for my 17" beast of a laptop. Fits perfectly!
PROS:
- Silent fan.
- Volume control including mute buttons feel great.
- Speakers surprised the heck out of my ears and upset my neighbor. Feels like there's a subwoofer in there somewhere.
CONS:
- USB Cord not long enough for 17" laptops.
- All audio goes directly to the speakers.
- If you want JUST the fan for cooling, you get the speakers automatically, thus killing your headphone jack for headphones or other bigger speakers. Also kills any other USB audio device and takes priority. VERY bad if you're a DJ and use your laptop.
PROS:

The speakers on these things are amazing. It would be a better stand if it had a small gap between the laptop and stand. My computer fans are on the bottom on my laptop, and it does not give enough airflow out even with the fan on. The fan is very quiet, and supply a decent amount of airflow. The overall quality is excellent, but not ideal for gaming laptops.

This is a very solid product. It does what is says in terms of comfort and style. Also, it is much louder than I thought it would be, so that is a plus. No hassles to install either jus plug and play.
The one downside is that it doesn't have a headphone jack; hence you have to go to playback devices to manually switch to headphones.

We could not decide between the N700 and the N550 but BestBuy had the N550 on an open box special for $14. So we bought both to compare and WERE planning to take one back. But the N700 sounds SO much better and has a very quiet fan. The N550 still sounds pretty good but has no treble. I could not hear the "S" sounds in the vocals of my favorite band. But the N550 weighs WAY less and draws less power and is WAY smaller. So since my wife and I both have laptops, we will keep them both. They are both worth the money even at full price.

I have had mine for about a week. I love it!!!! The fan is so quite i cant even tell its on! The speakers are more than I had hoped for! They could use a little more bass, but dont get me wrong the blow the pants off my laptop speakers!!! There are 4 things that it needs to be perfict. A usb hub,flexable light, powered headphone jack, and just a bit more padding on the knee area. Again dont get me wrong it is a great product thats easy to use just plug it in! It is the best on the market hands down! Well worth the money!

I had portable speakers and lap pads that I toted around daily, not Logitech products. I took a set of defective speakers back to Best Buy for the fourth time when I found the Logitech N700. It had great sounding speakers, cooling ability, a comfortable design, and was reasonably priced for all the things it had. I have owned my N700 for two years now with no issues at all! I would love to have the ability to detach the speakers from the pad once in a while and have the ability to attach a mouse pad. The only thing that has bothered me is when I want to use just the cooling pad when hooking up my laptop to my TV via HDMI. The pad does not send the sound through the HDMI if the pad is plugged in via USB. Switching the output on the speaker properties has not worked. That is just a minor issue to me which can be fixed by a clever programmer. Logitech, keep up the good work!!

OK, I was scared to purchase this because I didnt know if the pad was large enough to fit both my laptop and a wireless mouse. I could care less about the speakers, I just needed a cooling lap desk that could fit these needs. Now that I have received the lap desk, I must say I am thrilled. I have a large dell precision m4400 laptop, and this pad fits my computer with tons of extra space for a mouse. Furthermore, my logitech wireless mouse scrolls smoothly right on top of the speaker grating and it works perfectly.

Before I decided to order this laptop cooler, I had some worries. What if the fan is not very efficeint? What if it's too heavy? Would I need speaker system, cuz I'm already fine with my laptop speaker..?
I read a comment from other logitech cooler that says"the cooler is really bad." I was little concerned after the comment, but now I'm using it, it's fine.(though i hope they add one more fan)
Is this heavy? I don't know. I never felt this as 'heavy' cooler. I don't know how much this weigh, but the cushion under this eliminate the problem. It's so comfortable and you will NEVER think this is heavy.
The speaker..... is THE BEST. the sound is so great. I can't imagine me going back to the bad laptop speaker. I didn't really care about the speaker before, but this is just extra for me. It's great.
Though there are many good sides, it would've been better if it had usb2.0 port next to the cooler. It's not bad side, but just a wish I have.
