Blue Shards :D
Hi, I bought this mouse about 9 months ago at a Bestbuy for about $20. I IMMEDIATELY loved this mouse! Reasonable price, crisp click, very precise laser works almost anywhere -- can't say enough good things about it! About a week ago, it slid off of my laptop's case into a cup of soda. Furious, I checked the mouse and discovered that the laser was next to unresponsive. I decided (immediately) that I needed a new mouse and this was the one. I purchased a new one and am in love all over again, except that I bought this one online and got the blue shards design :D Looks even better in person.
5 Stars, definately reccomend!

Hi there,
unless you one of those who replace their mouse every 3-4 months, you will be very disappointed. i regret to buy three of them on black friday last year. this mouse is a piece, i would recommended to anyone. it looks very nice and is ergo-dynamic but the left click will double click instead of single click. this is the second mice with this issue. i will try the third mouse i bought. if it happens the same, that will be the last time i buy logitech products.

I had to give my opinion on this mouse. I've used many others and never had the problem I have with this one: I am constantly inadvertently hitting the right-click button. So frustrating. I've adjusted my grip (which I shouldn't have to do) and still accidentally hit it. Something about the design makes it too easy to click it. I work in tech support so I get my hand on hundreds of mice and this one is the only one with which I have this problem. Otherwise it's a decent mouse - would be 4 stars

Its a great mouse for the 15$ i paid for it, Nice and solid with many different designs. My only complaint is the front of the buttons stick out a little bit, If it gets caught on something small, it could possibly rip the buttons out of place. Other than that its an absolutely great mouse.

I was given this mouse as a gift for Christmas to replace my old mouse that finally failed after several years of great service. I play games in places where I cannot reliably get a solid surface (like a desk) and this mouse has horrendous side-to-side tracking on such surfaces (pillows, cushions, arm rests) where past mice have had no difficulties. Mouse pads cannot reliably fix the problem (3 different ones tried) and it has difficulties on some solid surfaces as well.

I have a Logictech Wireless Mouse at my office that I like a lot. I think it was called "Wireless Click-It" but of course it's discontinued so I looked for a replacement for the home computer since my lady lost her grip on the Logictech mouse with the roller ball that I really didn't care for. Anyway this mouse disappoints. I was doing a lot of work last night with audio files (trying to rename them and put them in proper folders) and the mouse would work fine and then again but then it would bring up commands that I did not give it. Then I would cliick it several times and nothing then it would work again. Then I'd try and click on a file and it wouldn't respond yet another command would come up. I am upset and will be returning this to Office Depot tomorrow. I'll see if the video I shot to explain comes out and if it does I see below I can add a video and I will. On the camera though it seems I can't see the screen so who knows?

The wireless mouse M310 is great...the only problem is the documentation. It went on easy but there was nothing telling me to download the software. If I was a new user I would not have know that. Other than that the mouse is great. Most of the time software comes with it.

This mouse is a great buy and is well worth the money. I bought it and found that it is not like other smaller wireless mice that are little round things for people with freakishly small hands. It fits my hand perfectly and does not give me the strain that my old mouse did. The unifying receiver is a great idea from Logitech. The only con is that it needs a battery, which isn't really a con, because you need to change it once a year.

I bought this mouse (the red one with silver flow design) from WalMart for $20... And this is my first and probably last wireless mouse. The nano-USB receiver is awesome (truely leave and forget it) all I gotta do is plug in, and still the laptop will slide in the sleeve and case with no snagging. Awesome response, accuracy, and fast to boot. Use this from surfing the web, to playing games, and no issues. I even set my laptop next to bed and run it on my leg while laying down and no issues.

Bought this mouse for $25 at Best Buy six months ago, and I'm still using the original battery. I haven't had any problems with the mouse so far, and the size is much more comfortable than the small mice that most other companies sell. The sensor is accurate, though not fast or extremely sensitive like gaming mice, but it works well for everyday use. The nano receiver is nice, and there is a compartment in the mouse for storing the receiver when traveling. Overall, the mouse works well and is priced well, too.

I bought this because it was the cheapest mouse in the store. I was not only surprised to see it was wireless, but also surprised to see that it used invisible light, and a nano receiver. I want to comment on various aspects.
I find the mouse a bit "clunky" to use. I tend to use my laptop in various places and don't always have a mousepad handy. Getting the mouse to move over small areas is sometimes difficult, but not so bad that I want to return the mouse. This negative is outweighed by it's benefits IMO.
The nano-receiver is the biggest plus for me. The thing is tiny! I can keep it plugged in, toss my laptop in by backpack, and not have to worry about it breaking. The simple fact it saves me from having to plug and replug my mouse in over and over again (which wears out the cord, which is why I needed a new mouse) is an amazing plus for me.
I was also impressed with the distance that it can receive from. I've not yet had the mouse long enough to rate battery life, but I'd consider this an overall good product; but if I could go back in time and the store had the cheaper M100 in stock, I'd still have purchased that even knowing what I do now about the M310.

Found this item for my new computer, and i'm still using it! this feels great, even after many hours of gaming, may not be the gaming mouse, but i wanted something wireless, to get higher sharpness just change it via control panel (even though i like mine low) Ive Used this mouse for 7 months and only changed the small battery once (but then again i use this mouse everyday ALOT) i may use this mouse alot and rough but the only wear is on the bottom because i dont use a mouse pad. It also fits my small hand perfect, if anyone is looking for an everyday mouse this will work great,

My wife gave me a red M310 for Christmas. It is a nice looking mouse that fits comfortably in my hand. I really like the nano receiver and the way it can be stored in the battery compartment. Unfortunately, this mouse is barely useable. This is the first mouse I've owned with the invisible optic laser sensor. It tracks horribly and has slow response to movement. Currently, it's sitting on the shelf unused and I should probably just throw it away. I replaced it with a M305 that has the traditional red laser.

I now own 2 of these and just had my boss buy me one for the office. I love them! Comfortable in my hand, gets really good reception to the receiver, works on almost every surface I've tried, and all still on the first battery (I've had the one since October 2010 - so about 6 mos). Not sure why I'm having a different experience than those who have given poor reviews stating issues with some of the above.
One thing I love about the M310 compared to many others that I tried in the stores: the front doesn't have a ridge under my fingertips, this one the buttons overlap the base just the slightest bit, so I don't feel a ridge when depressing the button (or just holding the mouse, as in some I tried).
I purchased, and returned, a few other mice in my quest to find the perfect one...some had the aforementioned comfort issue, and one didn't get great reception (the book for that one said to try locating the mouse further away from other electronic devises...um, it's a computer mouse, it's likely that it's going to be near other electronic devices!).
I recommend this to anyone. The only downside is, as another reviewer mentioned, there's not a great place to put your pinky finger because of the ambidexterous design.
Great job, Logitech...and agreeing with another reviewer, I really, really, really love the new easy-to-open packaging!

I always thought a mouse was a mouse. Not true. This is the first mouse I have ever purchased that I felt "what a waste of money". It is horrible. From the slow moving or not moving to the not clicking properly. This one was twice the cost of other ones so I thought I would be ok. Am going out now to buy the one that was half the cost that I use with my other laptop and works so much better. Unbelievable.

I have been using Logitech mice for years, and up until now, have been very happy with them. Like my previous mice, the M310 had a nice hand feel, and the ergonomics seemed decent. Setup was a breeze, and the low profile usb receiver was just what I was looking for.
I've been using optical mice for more than a decade. They have been getting better all the time--tracking on surfaces that you never would have imagined when they first came out. I expected this one would track at least as well as the MX series cordless mouse it replaced. Hardly.
First problem: due to its design, it picks up dust on the laser lens quite well. Try cleaning it with a q-tip, and you're just as like to pop the laser housing loose as you are to clean the device. Why clean it? When dirty, the mouse tracks very slowly.
Second problem: even when clean, it really doesn't like some surfaces that my old mice still track very well on. Things like my dining room table--my couch cushions--even makeshift mouse pads like notebooks. Yet, it works on mousepads fine. Um, logitech? The whole point of a wireless, optical mouse is that it can be used nearly anywhere, like the laptops they are so often paired with. This mouse isn't worth the $18 I paid for it by any stretch of the imagination.
It's unfortunate, but my long history of being a dedicated Logitech mouse guy is going down the tubes. I'm likely going to start looking at Kensington tonight to see what my options are for a similar type of mouse.
