MY WIFE KEPT WAITING FOR ME TO GO BALISTIC BECAUSE ON A SCALE OF 1-10 MY SKILL WITH A COMPUTER IS MABY 1.5. LOVE IT I HAVE BUILT IN ALL NESSARY COMMANDS FROM 4 REMOTES. I AM A 66 YR. OLD ONE REMOTE GUY AT LAST!!!!!!!!

I have a mac computer. Macs are easy to work with. Could not even start programing this remote even with the help of their tech desk. Bad engineering and bad product period. Stay away!!!!

I have my doubts to pay 30 dollars for remote for my 7 years old TV .But after start using , no doubts .Using software not complicated routine .Overall ,very great product .

I purchased this remote a year ago and I love it. Works excellent with all my devices including Verizon FIOS box. When I say works I mean it is fully functional unlike a lot fo other remotes I have encountered. Programming was simple the hardest part is actually finding the models of your devices. Once you have that plug it into your computer, create your account and you are on your way.
The only improvement I think that could make this a hit would be a backlit key pad. I use this in the bed room and the black on black remote is difficult to use in the dark.

Paid $25 and it actually worked! No other remotes would work for our RCA TV and so we had to get up to adjust the volume (or at least our kids did). They are LOVING the new remote. Very easy to program and matched RCA, Insigna, and DirecTV.

Didn't like set up had to take make to retailer to progam/ then it would operate my home theater like i was told it would. so I wasted that money and then ordered the originnal remote i needed on line which is what I should have done to start with but these salesman acted like they knew something go figure.

I purchased the Harmony 300 remote last November and was really impressed with the easy internet setup. My only complaint is the layout is hard to use by feel. All of the buttons feel the same and in dim light it is very hard to distinguish between the arrow buttons for fast forward and any other keys. It would be a great remote if the main buttons had a unique feel to them. Also backlight would be nice but more important is the feel. Directv remotes have a great way of using by feel, maybe Logitech could learn from them.

I absoluetely love the drag-and-drop fully customizable "myharmony.com" setup interface, but at the end of the day when I point the Harmony 300 at the device I want to control, it doesn't work 25% of the time. I like the theoretical control you have but my original controllers (all three of them) have much better range and work EVERY time you press the button. I have even intalled a remote control extender to to try and compensate for the Harmony's lack of range(?) but there is no improvement. I want this controller to work because it does EVERYTHING! (except work)

Like others I had a difficult remote problem. I found this remote and it does everything I want it to do. It controls a Smart TV,Cable Box w/ DVR, DVD player, and a Sound Bar Audio amplifier. All functions on every device are active, logically laid out, with very little memorization of additional mapped buttons. Everything I needed was available. The web based programming was easy to navigate and I had no problems syncing my remote after programming. The only complaint I have is that it has to work with IE 7 or above browser. I'm totally pleased with this remote and the easy to use Logitech software

I followed all the directions to program three devices: a TV, my Dish Network box, and a DVD player. The remote cannot even turn the Dish box on or off. The product is trash.

This has been the -easiest- remote to setup. Setup is done by searching online for your device's actual model number; not by entering some arbitrary random 3 or 4 digit code. Found my ancient VCR and the new Blu-Ray Home Theatre system instantly! With the ability to program every individual key, I am able to use all the features that came with the set-top box remote control; no more having to keep the original around to use the "On Demand" or "Next Day"/"Previous Day" buttons! The only "problem" I encountered was that the automatic configuration for the set-top box did not include the Green D key; but that was easily solved since this remote control can learn the key from the original remote simply by pointing the controls towards each other and pressing the button you want to program. The biggest bonus was this remote was on clearance for $9.88! Such a great deal that I purchased two. The 2nd one was even easier to setup since I was able to clone the profile from the 1st remote.

I purchased my TV open box and it came without a remote, the prices of other "universal" remotes ranged from $7.99 - $21.99 with the Harmony 300 at $29.99. I decided if I'm dropping serious money on a TV I might as well have a remote to back it up and I am not disappointed! This remote serves every function that the original remote would have, opposed to a lesser universal remote where only channels and volumes manage to work. I have since added my DVD player and cable box, again all the features I need are on this remote. This one remote covers all my needs, and if there is an issue with a button I just sync it up to my mac and change some button functions. I have no doubt it is worth the $30 and when I, later in life, have a home theatre set up I will again be buying a harmony remote that can handle all of those functions too.

This is the best universal remote at the the price of $24 that I have ever bought. It is fantastic it has all my devices and the ones that it doesnt have the remote can train itself to work with that device.
The only problem that I found is it does not have a set eject button and the it did not have xbox 360 in the devices. The good thing is that you can work around those problems very easily.

I love Harmony remotes - Very easy for people to use once they're set up correctly. Also, pretty straightforward (although tedious) setup.
But the whole point of having a Harmony is using activities. If the only activity you have is watching TV, then why bother with a Harmony? Just use the cable or satellite or UVerse remote.

This remote is......the wrost remote i have ever used. Software does not download properly and typically just freezes on the same "set up" page everytime....its AWESOME! If you are looking for a good universal remote....choose another one than harmony or any logitech remote.
