using with new iMac

I have just switched from PC to iMac
This webcam was fine on windows and all the features worked well.
However the same cannot be said on my new iMac having installed drivers i note hardly any features are included to operate with iMac . There is no Zoom! Controls are Non-existent! No Affects! these leads me to conclude its ok for Windows but utterly useless for iMac

Great with Apple Software

Very nice camera. I bought it as a replacement for my iSight on my new Mac Pro (no Firewire 400 ports on it). Strictly plug and play for iChat and PhotoBooth. Camera is much brighter than my old iSight, even in the dreadful low-light conditions of my bedroom. First video chat I had with it my parents were asking questions about all the stuff in my room that they hadn't been able to see with the old iSight camera. It really works a treat! I'm really impressed with the mounting hardware for the camera. It didn't look like much at first, but I find it works extremely well with my Samsung monitor. I'm completely delighted with this purchase. The only minor quibble I have is no side-to-side degree of freedom. Not a big deal since it can be mounted most anywhere. Thanks Logitech!

I have a limited knowledge with webcams. However, I needed one for work and this one was recommended by a distributor. I have to say that so far I am pleased. Everything Logitech describes about the product is true. This is a nice product with a clear and fast process of the video. Great product!

Works fine on Win7 64bit

Before I bought this webcam, I had read customer comments saying the C910 didn't work on 64bit systems. And read that the problems could be bypassed by using the online drivers. Well, I had no problem whatsoever installing and using the camera. Installation is straightforward and easy.
I am very, very pleased with it.

Pros: Amazing picture, great sound that does a good job of cancelling background noise. Software install was a breeze and totally automated, which made things much easier for me. The camera does an amazing job streaming over the internet, with very few hiccups.
Cons: Lack of side-to-side swiveling, and I wish at least the camera was tripod mountable being that's it records in 1080p.
Overall: Really great camera, and definitely the best one I've owned yet. i had abandoned Logitech for awhile and moved over to Microsoft for my camming needs, but after getting a few shoddy MS cameras in a row, I decided to give Logitech another chance--and boy am I glad I did. Great product!

Superb web camera and excellent customer service

The Logitech C910 HD web camera - It works perfectly on my Apple Macbook Pro Thunderbolt 15 inch laptop. It integrates well with Skype and can be used for taking both pictures and videos. The quality of pictures, videos and video conferencing is superb. Customer service was excellent, hassle free and gave me a discount! Thanks Logitech!

BEST webcam ever but oldschool outdated effects :/

This webcam looks nice. Super HD the clearest out there & the mic is super clear but very low. It's very clear on the face & whatever it can focus on it will be clear on those area. But darken area parts will not be clear & not full HD like just static.. c910 is so much better than C600 & HD5000.
Con: the cam cannot twist right or left & only move up & down very little. It cannot stand on any surface or table in a good angle that I want it to be. It doesn't work well on dark area, stuff, clothes, hair, I can see the cloudy and square box's. The mic pickup low.

It needs to add some main old effect that most other cam has like mirror/pinch/pouch/square head/big nose eyes and so on. Also add like backgrounds & photo stickers & snow falling, hearts, magazine covers many more & have an option that we can create our own. re-add all the resolution sizes & put for (Advance Users)
When installing it should have options to choose "Newbies Users" or "Advance Users" - Advance will appear more functions, resolutions, options.

I recieved my HD Pro Webcam C910 two weeks ago, hooked it up and now I'm looking for anything and everything to put on cam. OMG! Does this webcam take beautiful pictures or what. Before I leave the house I turn on my Webcam C910 to make sure I'm lookin goooooddddddd. You know what I really love about my C910 webcam? "It makes you look good."

I purchased and tried the C910, the Pro 9000, the Orbit QuickCam and cameras from 3 other manufacturers and trid them all. The quality and performance of the C910 was easily superior to all. Our company purchases and sends these with software to content experts in other cities to connect to our high end corporate video conference solutions.
Other detail: Follow face decent but could be better. Auto focus and auto iris very good.

Good Camera Bad Driners for 64bit.

If you are running a 64 bit system stay away from this camera. It will crash your system while installing. It will only run using Microsoft generic drivers and that takes all the functionality away. This makes a verry expensive camera worthless.

Everything seems to install OK. But nothing works with 64 bit systems. Don't buy this product if you have a 64 bit system.

I bought this webcam for use with my Apple Macbook which I have flipped down on a stand and instead connected to my Benq 24" monitor, thus being unable to use the iSight. The C910 is easy to use, it was a quick driver installation after downloading from logitech.com so it felt encouraging. It is true that the camera only films in HD while used in the native application (haven't tried it on new Messenger though), otherwise in VGA resolution (640x480), however, the cam produces such good quality images even in the dark that only that would be enough for purchase. Resolution is not all, as we know, the quality matters even more. I will try to recruit my friends to buy this cam for a very accurate and high quality call experience. The only thing I had issues with was that my screen is a bit to thin, just about 1.5 cm which almost caused the camera to do a front flip.

I bought this to use with my macbook, as Logitech claims Mac compatibility. This is not true. It only supports 720p or higher in the Logitech software. It won't perform in HD in any other application.
Do not buy this if you want HD video on your Mac!!!!

One Fantastic HD Webcam for Windows 7 (64 bit)!!

I purchased the Logitech C-910 primarily to make video calls on Skype 5.1 for Windows. Our computer system is a new Dell Vostro Core i5-2400 with 2GB RAM running Windows 7 64 bit OS. Our internet connection is Ethernet and FIOS 25 Mbps (down)/ 5 Mbps (up). The C-910 camera was placed securely on top of the 23" Dell LCD monitor with an accessory Dell sound bar. The webcam conveniently plugs into one of the existing USB 2 ports on the monitor.
The C-910 webcam software was installed using online instructions and the latest software downloaded from the Logitech site. I was initially concerned about potential microphone problems and Skype video freeze issues that have been reported by several users with Win 7 64 bit systems, so I decided not to use the Logitech installation CD that shipped with the webcam. Installation was actually very straightforward, although I did have to do a repeat software installation to get the microphone to operate properly.
Once all of the hardware and software was properly installed we made several lengthy video calls on Skype and everything worked flawlessly. I am impressed with both the video and audio capabilities of this webcam. The autofocus and exposure balance software provided our best video call experience to date.
I would highly recommend the C-910 webcam.
