Works with Ubuntu Linux 9.10 (out of the box)

I bought a C270 (slightly updated) and this camera (Device ID: 046d:0825) works out-of-the-box with Ubuntu Linux. Probably using the UVC driver. Good camera for the price. I suspect it will also work with OSX (uvc driver). I use it for SKYPE,

The webcam is pretty cool when it comes to taking pictures. I tried using it on oovoo and my picture didnt even come up nor did the green light turn on and the webcam was plugged in. If your not going to use oovoo you should buy this cam.

I would reccomend the Logitech c260 to all consumers. Other than a technicial glitch in the included software (which was quickly rectified by logitech support) I had no problem and I thinkt it is far superior than my previous web cam.

this is very good

I had another logitech webcam whitch was very good but this one I will keep. It is quite clear in both audio and vido.
When I am talking to someone or we are viewing each other it is like you are right there with the other person

Picture is great and sound is great. Like the "follow face" feature (from time to time).
Is an upgrade from my previous Logitech webcam (bought in 2001).
Great for video callling.
