I don't know how Z506 is able to simulate 5.1 connecting only 1 3.5mm jack, but it does. If you connect a TV it is really 5.1 (front speakers have different sound than rear) fornt are voices, and rear are ambient, or if voices are far, they come only from rear.....it is really great!

I really like quality so I end up getting Logitech Speaker System Z623 and I like that much better.

After reading the reviews i wasn't really sure who to believe, but i have just hooked these up in my living room to my t.v. and it sounds great, and my living room is huge, obviously not as good as the $399 set from longitech but for the price these are hard to beat, i just hope they last. Only bad thing is no remote. Great bass also.

I LOVE THE PRODUCT. I HAD TO BUY RCA CABLES TO HOOKUP TO MY MONITOR / TELEVISION, BUT LISTENING TO MUSIC IS JUST A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SET, AND FOR THE PRICE, IT'S MORE THAN WORTH IT. YOU'LL BE PLEASED IF YOU'RE USING IT TO ENHANCE YOUR AUDIO EXPERIENCE ON YOUR MONITOR.

Im absolutely infuriated over the cheap quality. Speakers suddenly stop working for no reason once again. Same thing happened to the old ones. Im never buying logijunk speakers again...

I bought this sound system less than a year ago, and now the rear panel on the sub wont read the speakers' connection. Im stuck listening to my favorite music through ONE speaker instead of ALL 5... so the sound is weak, no depth. I would hold back from buying this cheap product in the future and save to buy a better quality product that would be worth the money spent.

These speakers are amazing, the quality is amazing. Some reviews say that the rear speakers have buzz when in stereo mode but thats not true, the only bad thing is that the bass control is on the subwoofer and you have to reach every time it would be batter beside the volume control, but other than that tiny thing they are amazing, the best speakers Iv had and worth the money!

This was my first ever logitech purchase and I am not regretting it till now... many suggested on going with the old version but I stayed on to these and these are the best... price and performance both = best bang for the buck. The only thing missing was a remote and wall mounting feature which with this price tag is hard to expect but nonetheless.

Set up properly this system will produce quality entertainment. Even though most of the use is indoor for my laptop, this system is sufficient for outdoor entertainment as well. Highly recommended verses other high end brands.

Amazing! The sound quality of this set is astounding! Very happy with purchase. Worth every dollar IMO. Find them at a great price from time to time when they go on sale... whether it be @Logitech or Bestbuy. Bestbuy sometimes has them on sale for $79.99. Great product!

For the price, these speakers are pretty great. The main problem I've noticed is that many artifacts are introduced into the sound. When playing music with distortion in the sound the extra noise is barely noticeable, but if i'm listening to really soft music or some classical, I hear soft clicks and noises that are definitely not part of the songs.

I bought this prob. 3 months ago and have been blasting Dubstep non step the 5in 27 watt sub was perfect and the so called "cheapo amp" was great, one thin i do advise is if heavy use one sub. let cool after use, dose get very hot in side the sub. other then that great surround system

I bought these with high hopes and found them to be total junk. after returning the first pair for unbearable noise from the rear speakers I found the new set started making odd interference noises after a week or so. no they were not to close to anything and yes they even did it with no input ! any-who RMA'd them through Logitech only to find the new set had a very audible plastic like rattle in the sub-woofer. At this point I had given up so I took apart the sub-woofer only to find a cheaply made 3rd party Amp. Very low quality components. Now after some months even this set has a very dirty amp noise at idle. Logitech simply took the cheapest amp they could get there hand's on with these.. Funny thing is now I am on set 4 with similar issues.. come on Logitech, There is no way this can be a coincidence on 4 pairs.. Go to your local best buy and ask one of sales guys how often this model gets returned ! you will change your mind ... Discontinue this model acknowledge the mistake ir replace the cheapo AMP ....

This is just an awesome product if you need for a PC in single room. Great audio quality and surround effect for the price paid. would be surprised if anyone is disappointed with these speakers, they may be expecting way too much for the price. I liked it very much and satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone looking for 5.1 in this price range!!

Not the best speakers but they are great for the price. They do have some static when you plug into back of TV due to interference with the other cables (mine being a playstation 2). It causes a little bit of fuzziness but nothing you can't get used to I suppose.

Enough about hissing and low rear speakers! I hooked this baby up to my TV set, but plugged through my old Realistic amplifier which is also connected to my 20-band graphic equalizer. If you want perfect sound, this is the way to go. As far as a remote is concerned, I simply use the remote from the amplifier. I would would not recommend this unit for use on PCs, which have their own sound distribution via the motherboard.
