I love my H760! My employer had tried the IP Softphone on my computer earlier this month and it was with the model H390. I was lucky, my coworker was given some air traffic control looking, HoriSoft piece of equipment. Hopefully pictures to come.
With the H760 I can be the true, All the Way Live, Walkee-Talkee in our Sales office. At the moment only looking for more options of what the controls of the headset do, instead of just control WMP i want my Google Music Player controls... To picky?

VERY Weak plastic design where the adjustment band on the control side of the headset. EASILY BROKE the little piece of 3 screws and cracked the plastic piece that spans the other side of the headband. Black Taped the large black side where the sliding adjsutment resides. But not able to do the same with the little peice where it uses 3 tiny screws to secure it. I conjured up my own fix with a piece of thin gage sheet metal (with holes and fit snug to plastic sides) to replace the plastic piece. Again used black electrical tape to wrap it up..and added glue to keep it from loosening over time. after 2 weeks of normal abuse...solution is still holding up. As a mechanical designer, just looking at the design by itself, it is OBVIOUSLY weak. (very small mounting area for the metal band..) Cannot believe Logitech did not test for (low) loads normal to the adjustment band. They can easily fix their design flaw just with the metal band to make it more robust at the attachment points.
suggested enhancements: 1) incorporate a docking/mount feature for the USB dongle to the headset to keep them together during storage. 2) Bluetooth, so one can use with cell phone/Ipod etc.
If all the above features & fixes were incorporated, EVERYONE would get one.

I read all the reviews about the band breaking, so as soon as I got the headset I wrapped it in some good ol fashioned duct tape. The band has been perfect for about six months.
I do have to send off for a replacement because it won't charge anymore; however it's been my experience that happens in items that are frequently plugged and unplugged. The staff was very helpful in helping me get a replacement.
I do have to say that the audio quality is pretty darn decent. Through a house full of wireless products and some microwaving there were some intereference issues but that is expected. I was surprised at the range when I went out to my car with it on. It disconnected and reconnected and was clear as a bell. Pretty cool.
Overall I'm pretty happy with the product even while having to get it replaced. I used the set *a lot* and can't wait til the next is shipped.

I have to admit I read the reviews of this product before I bought it. I just figured the breakage was due to abuse... NOT. I cannot understand how such a great company can put out such a poorly constructed product.
The features of this headset are terrific and as far as sound quality and the wireless feature I couldn't be happier. BUT what a pain to have to tape it all together when the adjustable band breaks in less than 3 months.
I am so disappointed. This could have been a top notch product that I would have recommended to everyone. I was so pleased with it ... until it broke.

The head set when it performed worked well but it is as durable as Ice Cream in the desert. To take on and off requires either two hands and care or one hand (which we all do at times) which creates stress.. One mine the stress point came on the earpiece which parted from the support. No amount of coaxing back into its hole would make it usable again. And then the earpiece fell apart!
Although the sound is good i give it only one for performance as, to me, performance includes usability over a long period of time.
Probably three months of use....
I like the concept of a wifi headset, if only someone would make one that is light but robust.

The band holding this headset broke within 30 days of use about 2x per week. I taped up the broken piece of plastic and head a great headset until I decided to return it (since I did't pay $80 for a taped headset).
If Logitech would use a piece of hard rubber or bendable plastic on the back stress point of the band, this would be a top notch product. It's light and fits easily over the ears without undue pressure. The mic places well in front of the mouth, and the the tilt to mute function works great. Battery life and sound quality were good.

Initially, I was very pleased with my purchase of a Logitech H760, especially after the inconvenience of the hot, cumbersome, and more expensive headset this one replaced. But I soon experienced the durability issues so many reviewers of this item have indicated.
The materials and construction are so shoddy that I now have gone back to wearing the old headset to support the new ones, which still work fine, but are broken in so many places that they are of no use by themselves: they cannot stay on my ears..
While I found the lightweight, behind-the-head design far more comfortable to wear and that the amazing clarity of the sound quality is phenomenal, I can hardly say that I would buy these again.

Mine (as many others said) broke in about 3 months of use. The plastic on the extension side of the headset broke and had to duct tape it.
For a $$$$ headset to use duct tape is like a crime, so as happy I'm with the concept and as much need I have for these type of headset, these logitech it's not worth the money.
Please, re-engineer the product and come out with a GOOD over the head wireless headphone and put good materials on it!

While the sound and mic seem to be really good on this headset the actual build is very poor. We had this device for a month and a small piece broke in the back that we could fit back into place easily enough but in about a week the whole thing snapped and all that held it together was the slinky style wire. WE taped it back together and it still works but my hair catches in the tape and its very annoying. For 80.00 for a headset i was very disappointed that they would be so cheap in the construction of it. In the past I have highly recommended Logitech products to my friends..not so much anymore. I really get tired of becoming dependent on a good company just to have them start making their products more cheaply after they get good clientele. It says a lot about a company.

Excellent sound and convenient to use for Skype or high quality music files.
Main complaint is that battery life is too short and the recharge takes too long, otherwise pleased with this set.
Secondary complaint is that I wish the headset could work without the UBB dongle when the headset USB cable is connected to the computer for the recharge.

Bought these a while back at Best Buy--long enough, it seems, to have lost the receipt. within a couple of weeks, I noticed that one of the pieces in the back of the band, a very thin bit of plastic, was buckling. I'd click it back in and go about my business. As days passed, the plastic would buckle more frequently until it finally snapped out entirely. I pieced it back in and wrapped duct tape around it. So, at this point, I think all is well. I'm a little annoyed that my expensive headset should require reinforcement and I feel like the modern version of the nerdy kid with the tape around his glasses, but it sounds good and stays on my head. So, whatever. Not two days goes by before the now renforced headset snaps in twain. The plastic broke at the screws, so it's just the left and right sides hanging by the internal wire. This thing is a bit of a paradox. On the one hand, it is overpriced yet on the other, it is the cheapest piece of junk I've bought in recent memory. Just applied some super glue and more duct tape. Something tells me, this will not be the last repair. Gonna contact Logitech and see if they are willing to make it right. In the meantime, I'm swearing off the brand for a while. I'm just in awe!

I received this headset as a gift, and unfortunately do not have the receipt. While I like the Logitech products in general, and had checked out a friend's same model headset, this one was not the same quality material as his. The slide housing behind the head for adjustments broke after 2 days, and the boom microphone does not stay in place like the other one did. I would change my opinion if I had the receipt to exchange it, but I don't. Also the volume isn't what it should be. But if I went by my friend's model, I would be happy with it.

Won't be getting another one. Will just get one that goes over the head.
Other than that it did work fine.

I really like how this set fits behind the head. It's very comfortable, much more so than any over the head style I've used (and there have been many).
I use google voice for my main business line, so I use the headset daily, for hours. Never had any problems. True, the headset does break up and get crackly at the perimeter of it's range, but all wireless devices do this at the extreme end of their range. For me, I can stroll around within 20 ft. of the desktop without any interference or quality degradation.
I also use the headset for some gaming and also for listening to music. Works perfect, but I wouldn't say the headset is perfect. The control buttons are not very responsive, so I end up using the desktop to control everything instead.
Only compliants - I wish battery life was longer, and I wish there was an actual battery power meter, so you know how much you have to work with.
For what most people expect of a wireless headset, this one will do the job. It's not ridiculously expensive either.

I have just broken my second in 4 months because if you are not very careful you break the little black piece of plastic where all the legal writing is and the headset cannot be used anymore and there is no chance to replace probably a 50 cent piece and you throw the headset in the garbage and beyond this Logitech is treating this product from a support point of view like a 1k $ PC with s/n and all the rest so practically if you have thrown away the box you don't have anything in your hands

Good sound and is comfortable to wear but ive gone through 3 of these and thats because they snap in half. Needs a rubber joint for flexability or something. Make sure you own a warranty for this if you dont want to buy another one.
