These computer speakers are amazing. This system right here rattles my house. And my house is only 9 years old. When i turn the speakers up i can hear it outside with my windows closed. Sound quality is great with an eq. Or they can be a little tinny. But i put an eq on all my stuff anyways. Sub is quite powerful too. for being a 7" woofer it kicks. It is way more than i expected from it. The sub dost pull away from the speakers. These speakers are great for movies and music. I love them. I would buy them again.

They are GREAT speakers, but they have too many glitches and tech problems !
I had TWO already, the first ones when I first got them they cut out on me a week later (no abuse done to them) and the second set cut out on me 2 months later (no abuse done) . I think they are a great product, but too many problems. If you want to take the risk of sending your speakers back every 2 months and getting new ones-- then go ahead and buy these O_O

Awesome set of speakers. They fill the room with a plethora of crisp and clean sound (my office is approx. 15'X18'). The subwoofer is very punchy and can be adjusted to suit whatever you are listening too. Awesome!!

Since I've bought the system two years ago I'd like to share my experience about the long run of the product.
All that I can say is it's awesome! I'm totally satisfied with both the speakers and the subwoofer.
Absolutely the right choice to buy these guys for a superb sound pleasure!
The only problem so far is when you're adjusting the volume with the pot, the speakers give scratchy noises and they take a bit time to set in properly, but it's kinda O.K.
All that I can say is it's awesome! I'm totally satisfied with both the speakers and the subwoofer.

I originally decided to get a set of speakers for my office so I could listen to music. My work laptop's speakers just weren't cutting it. I bought this system and decided to try it out at home before bringing it in to work. I'm probably going to have to get another set because I like them so much!
I've been using the built-in speakers on my 27" iMac for the past couple of years. They're okay for casual use; any time I wanted to really listen to music, I would hook up to my entertainment center's speaker system. If I was gaming, I'd use a headset. Now that I've hooked up the Z623 system, there's no need to do that anymore.
Music sounds great on these. I ended up using the EQ on my computer to adjust the midrange for my tastes, but that's more personal preference than anything. These speakers sound good on low volume, great at mid volume, and decent when they're really cranked.

SOOOO NICE!!!! I spent a good month looking at speaker systems in this price bracket, but when I saw these were THX certified, I knew I had to seriously look at these. When I finally bought them, the set up took all of 3 minutes and I was going at it. Even at low volumes the Z623 performs masterfully. Turn up the bass a little and I literally shake the entire house without going even over a third of the volume. I am beyond happy with this system, literally I've taken it over to friends houses to show them what they can get with spending a few bucks on one incredible system. This system can play anything from Dubstep to Rock and play it awesomely. Gonna stay with Logitech as long as they keep turning out quality products like this!

i have had these speakers for about 1 1/2 months and i do like them and would recomend them to a friend.
i am disapointed with the no tweeters because i didnt notice that when i bought them.There is still plenty of high just sounds dull to the competitors(Note i do like to have ear pierceing highs though).bass will rattle away the competitors though.i have listened to these quite a bit and its high fades overs from left to right are less distinguish because of no tweeters Ex. on a lot of nickelback songs they have those switch overs and it is less distinguished in these speakers.
In the end dont get the competitors use logitch 2 year warrenty and some rocking speakers.

Choosing the right sound system was a bit of a hassle, researching for about a total of 12 hours to find the right setup. I decided to go with the 2.1 system as of my room is awkwardly shaped for a 5.1 and i didnt want to spend the money for one. I did alot of research between logitech, klipsch, creative, and such to find out that the z623's were HOT on the market. So i decided to give em a try.. can i just tell you i was BLOWN away from there performance. The 2 satellites running at 35 watts each sound 150% better then my ipod dock, and the dedicated subwoofer is amazing! These bad boys rocked everything from bf3 to lil waynes song 'A milli'. I bought them straight from logitech due to the horrible ratings about receiving defaulted products from newegg. The shipping was terrible, waited about 10 days, where newegg woulda had it to you in 3. The downsides to these speakers are that the subwoofer is a 7"!! Who makes a 7"??? I was really bumbed when i found that out because there last product, the z2300, were a 8" running even more watts then the newer setup. And that because i pay attention to every little sound that comes out of these, the left satelite has a crackling noise to it, Enough to drive someone insane, i think its because of the cheap wiring done to it. Because of logitechs failure to tell me the frequency of the setup got me really upset... so there for all whos wondering its 35hz-20khz. Very nice for only 150$. Would be 5 * if the sub was a 8", guessed i didnt do enough research?? haha!! Well now that I told you the downs of this setup its a MUSTT!! I was shaking walls from my bedroom to the kitchen! Awesome for this compact sub! So if ur an audiophile like me then definatly get these!!!

These speakers have clarity and bass at the perfect level. These can slap when you want them and also play low at a great quality. These speakers over power the Bose companion 5 and Klipsch pro media by a lot. Including they are the cheapest out of the three ! Great Buy. You won't be disappointed.

I bought these speakers from Tiger Direct for $150+tax. I have to say that these are the BEST speakers for that price. I have tested the BOSE speakers at Future Shop, but they just didnt compare to the base and quality of these. Its like you are in a theatre. AWESOME and worth every penny.

These speakers have been the best $100 I ever spent (I got them for half price) but for $300 speakers these would still be amazing. They do every thing I want them to do no issues what so ever and i've been using them for over 3 months (well there was a slight thing, I smelt an electrical fire when I cranked it to the max but it could be nothing and it was ridiculously loud so shouldn't affect you) I totaly recomend you get these if you're looking for well speakers for any thing. It plays my music brilliantly same for my games (TF2, BF3, Tribes, ect)

This is a great set of speakers for the bass enthuisis
i find the highs to be screatching at max so a lil adjustment on a EQ fixs this no problem bass is awesome terrorizing the house with the bass and overall i would recomend this to a very close friend
but it does make a slight hum with AUX input but when playing music it goes away(barly notice able)
I gave features 4/5 cause no treble adjustment availble but it is great that it does have a bass knob on the front speakers unlike so many others

Spent over a month looking into systems for under $200, found out these were THX certified and put them on my consideration list. Read a ton of reviews on a few systems and choose this one for the power and size of the woofer id get for only $150. Best decision I've ever made. Sub hits mad hard, even at low volume levels. Didnt even have to turn the bass control up to shake my room. Turned it up a little bit and put it at 1/3 volume and i could hear clearly what song was playing from the downstairs portion of the house and on the opposite side. Sound is preposterously crisp, you can listen to any genre of music and be blown away at these speakers. Hit highs very well too, just does everything i wanted it to and then some. Only complaint I have is that I didn't get this sooner, literally changed the way I listen to music. my only complaint is that now I cant listen to music on headphones, its just sad how much I've been missing using only headphones.
I dare someone to find a genre that this system cant handle. I've thrown my dubstep, techno, metal, rap, and rock at this system and it has blown me away. Use it everyday and couldn't imagine not doing so for a very long time. Now gonna use Logitech speaker systems as long as I'm alive as long as they keep making products that deliver the way these have.

these are simply great,i got it today after almost a week's wait and i am very happy with these. the first time i played it i was blown away with its output,the bass was tight and breathtaking,also high frequencies sound awesome. the build quality is nice and i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking fora good speaker set......i'm having a blast now...cheers logitech.....very happy with it...

i got these speakers recently for my dell computer and they work great it sounds like a movie theatre and when playing songs with rich bass it feels like an earthquake. :D

What else can I say but Perfection, bought these speakers online at the Logitech website, read some reviews about the different speaker systerms and decided that the Speaker System Z623 was the best choice for me, Love them, highly recommend them superb sound big thump from the subwoofer!

I love this system. My son and I used to have "stereo wars", him upstairs and me downstairs. Now I always win! The bass is a thumper....even at low volume levels. I have pushed this to the max and it consistently performs. I am amazed at the quality of sound. I'm from old school with 16" woofers and tweeters.... this system makes those old systems sound "tinny".
I highly recommend this system. I'm considering getting another for my rear channels....

Considering what the product is intended to be used for it is a purchase I would make again. I bought these to go with my Son's new Laptop to be used at his college dorm room as an entertainment device. With a higher end laptop, a Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, and a 23" LED Monitor, he has the makings of a Gaming, Entertainment System that will suffice for his College years. As a matter of fact, I connected the speakers to my large LCD TV and was quite suprised at the quality of the system. The Sub is nice and smooth, the sat's are a bit tin-ish but for the price this product works.....

For those who are on the fence while currently in the position of an old/failing Z4 system: These are well worth the purchase! The bass is much more clear and projected, unlike the "vibrating box" the Z4 possesses. I might add that you will have to get used to the lack of a remote - but at the same time you acquire more desk space. The high notes from these aren't too bright out of the box, but with a good EQ these still blow away the Z4's in almost every aspect except size. I game and listen to: Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Matthews and Nine Inch Nails. I'll tell you never... songs never sounded better :-).

I bought theses speakers about 5 months ago and have never had a problem, the bass is very smooth, i use my speakers for listening to music mostly, but the bass is very loud and hits hard, i would highly recommend these to anyone listening to music with them. Very easy to use, overall i love them and would by them agian!
