This is a great game pad. It feels good in my hands, it is compatible with all of my games(old & new), and I love that it is wireless. My only complaint is the fact the Logitech Profiler would only scan for games on my C:/ drive. Most of my games are on my G:/ drive. Therefore I had to manually create profiles for all of my older Direct Input games that were not on my C:/ drive. This was a long & frustrating process. Hopefully Logitech will update the software in the future so that it will scan all Hard Drives available. Other than that one issue I love this game pad. Highly recommend this product !

I owned a rumblepad for the longest time and then during my travels one of the sticks went bad. It got damaged somehow and trust me i was devastated. it was the wireless one and i do love wireless. so imma give you guys a little help on the f710. all you need is like a antenna around 2 millimeters long and use aluminum inside the antenna instead of copper. this should increase the signal range by 10X .its more than anyone could have ever imagined. im sure of this.

This the first time i buy a gamepad from logitech product,i heard that many issues this gamepad has a giant deadzone and poor connectivity. Before that i was thougt that logitech product especially the GAMEPAD was a FAILURE PRODUCT!!I just buy this gamepad at the afternoon and I already test the game in my computer + test the dead zone analog using DXTweak2 and GUESS WHAT??!! I didn't notice the deadzone AT ALL!!(SET ON XINPUT MODE),and it is better than microsoft Xbox 360 controller for windows!( the wireless one) cause the microsoft gaming receiver is easy to get broken or dead so you need to open it and fuse the broken part.About the connectivity i didn't notice any LAG or something that may disconnect your gamepad.Oh! I forget about the trigger YES! it is much heavier! but who cares it is soft and tender for me!! I can't believe that this is the greatest wireless gamepad ever that made by logitech!! oh one thing that i dislike! this gamepad is dark gray and it's ugly to me, i just wish that logitech make a black version like cordless rumblepad 2 which mean not a gray color but totally black like cordless rumblepad 2 . I recommended this product the one who want to buy it and trust me! I didn't notice dead zone even the connectivity at all!! SWEET! + I like the vibration and d-pad! :D

I have had no issues that are being stated in these reviews, very solid gamepad and works great. Battery last a long time too.!!
Notice most issues are being reported on xbox. I don't see anywere it says this works on Xbox, maybe it works, but don't own one eather to try it on.!
Highly Recomended for PC Gaming: I'm a FPS junky by heart (use a mouse), but you got to get this F710 gamepad if you play Rage on a PC ,, makes all the diffrance in driving skills.. I only use it for driving when a game won't bind "steering" to a mouse..

I have been a longtime Logitech gamepad user, and when my Cordless Rumplepad 2 broke, I was sad to see that they were no longer available anywhere. Then I saw the F710. At first I was happy with the look and feel of it, how it kept all the good things of the Rumblepad and added a few new things. Unfortunately one of those new things is poor reception and a habit of dropping the connection mid-play. What's more disappointing is, despite the amount of people with this problem, Logitech doesn't seem to be properly addressing this issue. I can't recommend this gamepad until the reception issue is resolved. Save yourself the headache and stick with the wired version or another wireless model!

I wish Logitech could make a wireless game-pad using Unifying receiver such my usbs would be saved a lot...Anyway this is a great controller for PC. I played on NBA 2k11 and DIRT 3 and it is just excellent. Does it job, quick responding, looks a bit cheap though. And the quality of wireless signal is good generally in spite of a small packet loss sometimes.

I used ramblepad 2 for about 2 years and it was great. so for an upgrade I bought the F710 which have perfect features and game support But really bad quality that I didn't expect from Logitech (my favorite company).
Upsides: you can easily change between xbox mode and ramblepad 2 mode (like you have 2 gamepads in one) And unlike ramblepad 2 if you have more then one f710 they'll never interfere with each other. ☺
DownSides: Horrible wireless connection. No matter how close you were from the receiver you going to notice the lags and the disconnections every several minutes. And the LB RB buttons need a certain kind of pressure to work properly. you need to press them from the exact middle of the button. and you'll going to suffer a little if you use four fingers in the back (finger for each button) and you'll going to notice that sometimes they not going to respond at all even when you are fully pressing them .
At the end I see that the downsides in this pad is more then the upsides.

I have used this for a while now and it is a great gamepad. You get instant in-game support in at least newer games, where the buttons will already be set up and ready to use. You get a great grip despite the big heavy bulgy battery case on the back. You can shift between modes and even set how much vibration you want to feel from the gamepad.
The downside to this thing seems to be that due to the wireless connection, you'll sometimes notice lag in that it will either be slow to react or won't react to a button press at all. That said that doesn't happen often and it's hardly gamebreaking.
Now my problem is I like to play racing games on my PC with gamepads, and in certain games, you need to hold down the RT and LT buttons a lot, and this can be incredibly strenuous due to the springs on those particular buttons being very tough and seemingly eager to push the buttons back up. It is very uncomfortable.
I read elsewhere that the buttons were tough to press down, but I assumed he was exaggerating. Had I known, I would've never bought it in the first place. I would take every cheap gamepad over this one.
So if you like to use the back RT and LT buttons a lot, I recommend looking for something else.

I have been using this gamepad since January and here are my pros and cons
Pros: -Great Ergonomics. The black rubber material feels great -Long Battery Life. -Buttons have good feedback -Vibration is quite good -D and X mode makes the gamepad versatile -reasonably priced compared to xbox 360 controller for pc -the 'mode' button makes it easier to change between the analog and d-pad especially for racing games
Cons: -No low battery indicator -Poor wireless connection. Make sure receiver is facing the gamepad. -Trigger buttons are a little hard compared to xbox 360 controllers. -No unifying receiver
If logitech could fix the cons above I'm sure it would be an extremely great gamepad. I would also love to see an all black version of the gamepad.. Anyway despite the cons, it is still one of the best wireless gamepads out there.

I use my F710 for about 2+ hours a day. The battery lifetime is above and beyond what I thought was even possible. I got mine about 4 months ago and have changed the batteries only 2 or 3 times. It will disable force feedback when the batteries are low, so it won't suddenly stop working in the middle of a game. The wireless range is unreal! I can be 3 rooms away from my PC and it's working perfectly! The nano-receiver can be stored in a special compartment in the battery case for easy ans safe transport. The X-input/Direct-input switch is perfect and easy to use. Games designed to be used with and XBox 360 controller have show the same buttons (in tutorials and what-not). The d-Pad is excellent. It has the design of a PS3 controller (analog sticks and layout) and the button names (A,B,X,Y, ETC). My only complaint is that the force feedback is not as strong as some other controllers. In direct-input mode, you can boost it with the Logitech profiler, but not in X-input mode. There may be some 3rd party program that can help with this for games that don't have a built-in force feedback power setting. It is still worth every penny and then some. If you are getting a PC gamepad, this is the first and only gamepad I would recommend. Thanks Logitech for making the best gaming products.

Having owned the previous Rumble Pad2 I was slightly dissapointed to have brought it with little knowledge of microsoft forcing this new x-input on the market with the 360 pad being the only real option for 100% compatiblity.
The F710 is the answer to those who want something other than a 360 controller. Its rubber grip is comfortable and stylish blend of silver with the colour of xbox buttons. In game the controller uses microsofts drivers and the buttons correspond with the game interface the same as the xbox would.
Cons; The controller seems to have gone backwards from the rumble pad with the wireless being a bit ropey, leading to less stars. It really depends on how you position the controller so it doesnt loose signal, It doesnt help that my solar powered keyboard interferes with the signal. Is a real shame this isn't compatible with the unifying recivers as I now have several logitech products which all have there own incompatible wireless connection dongles logitech needs to pull there finger out on this and make there products more compatible with each other its royal pain having to arrange all the recievers so not to have interference.

This is a nicely designed gamepad that in my opinion a good upgrade from a rumblepad. Except for the fact that the connection between the gamepad and the receiver is horrible! even when sitting close to the receiver and pointing directly at it. It seems that far too many people are suffering from the same issue and logitech hasn't properly addressed it yet! If you are thinking about buying it... DON'T! You will end up more frustrated than happy, at least not until they resolve this issue.

I love the f710 Gamepad, works great with my games Call of duty, Batman arkhun.., blur and Dirt2. The only reazon I gave it 3 stars on easy to use is because installation instrucctions are not clear. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR F710 SET TO MODE "D" NOT "X" OR WINDOWS WILL NOT RECOGNIZE THE DRIVER. You have to figure this on your own, this is something that have to be posted on the instruccions when you open the connection utility.

This gamepad suffers frequent connection drop-outs. It's unacceptable in this day and age when I lose connection from 2 feet away. The quality of the pad itself is very nice, but the triggers have too much resistance.
At the end of the day, a wireless pad depends entirely on it's signal quality and this one fails in that regard.
*Xinput vibration is flawed when compared to 360 pad. It's missing many cues from games like Dead Space and GTAIV, which I have tested on both pads.
