Great Radio but needs Bluetooth

Great Radio but having a corded head phones is not the way to go. You should add bluetooth for an option.

Couldn't be simpler!

I had done a bit of research on a wi-fi radio for my own personal use and ended up chosing this Logitech Squeezebox for its all-in-one design and quality of sound. I use in and around our home mostly. In summer we have a deck and the wi-fi signal is easily picked up out there as well. I purchased the extra battery which comes in handy out on the deck, just charge up ahead of time and you're good to go all night long. Seems to be a party conversation starter, everyone wants to name a song/artist to have you look up and play. I also use the app on my phone to control it which is just another awesome feature to impress friends with, and allow me to change artists without getting off my chair.
I enjoyed this item so much that i just ordered and received (in less that 1 weeks time) another one for our daughter. She has a laptop to stream internet radio or listen to itunes, but for rich, full, easily portable, dedicated music listening..........this is the ONLY way to go!

I like to go to a lot of parties and get togethers. Often times music is being played on a ipod/mp3 and someone is always having to look for new music. The Squeezebox solves the that problem with no more interruptions and wasted time searching for music. Program your radio to what you want to listen to and the rest takes care of itself.
I really enjoy my radio and give it a 4 out of 4 rating.

I have the Squeezebox and the Bose Soundlink and although I like the Soundlink design better, I have to say I enjoy fliipping through the internet stations more on the Squeezebox. I have no downloaded music and only listen to to internet radio and with the controls on the Squeezebox I don't have to give my iPhone/Ipad to someone if they want to explore different stations.
Soundwise I find the Bose Sounlink to be better on the lower volume range, but mid-range and up both appear to be pretty equal to my uneducated ears.
Super easy to set up.

I am in China who recently felt in love with wifi-radio and this squeezebox one of my favorite buys ever. Very well done in terms of both built and sound quality. Very impressed with the App Gallery including the must have Tunein Radio. Great thanks to all the credits for firmware 7.6.1 r9482 and hope you guys will continue the efforts by regular upgrading to make it more perfect ;-)) Thanks a lot!

Best electronics toy I've ever bought!

Have been using this since December 2010. It's an incredibly easy to use system. Great for bathroom radio.
Sound is very good for its size. Buttons are easy to use.
If I had to find things to improve on, I would suggest more presets and a larger time display (separate alway on would be even better).
I have a very hard time listening to terrestrial radio now.

Easy set up...works and sounds great..tech support is slow 15 minute wait. The radio does not come with a battery or remote..most retailers do not offer this ...glad logitech does..$50.00 for both...Consider adding this to the radio and increase price.
-If you add am/fm and more presets you could not make them fast enough. Consider adding internet weather

I received this as a Christmas gift....and it's probably one of the best gifts I've ever gotten. I feel like anyone who loves music should have one! It's so portable, lightweight, and sounds great! It's easy to use which is not an understatement since I am very technologically challenged. I wanted a radio that would stream my Pandora & Slacker in the bathroom while I was getting ready...instead of having to lug my laptop in there...this fits the bill perfectly...and it's SO easy to move around I have also enjoyed bringing it in the kitchen to use while I'm cooking. It's awesome....I love it!!!

YA HOO! I received the SqueexeBox Radio yesterday and in 5 minutes it was up and running. The sound quality was impressive for a one speaker radio. All the listening options are unlimited. The unit it self is rock solid. No flimsey controls. had a problem this morning when I lost my presets. Don't know waht happened. The radio was unusable for about an hour and then came back without the presets. maybe i hit the reset button. For $119.00 with the battery pack and remote it was a steel. logitech is no longer offering this deal but keep checking the site.
The only negative is the remote is unable to change the pre-set channels (a bummer)Maybe firmware updates can change this. I have a Harmony 880 remote and tried to configure the Squeeze box with no success. The white case is great in that it wont show dust like the all black

This is a pretty good WiFi system with quite a lot built into the software. Quite impressed with what stuff you can pull from the Internet, given some time to fiddle with the features.
Aesthetics are nice. It looks pretty, in a restrained and serious way. The color screen, although small, adds a fancy touch.
Unfortunately as an audio product, it is somewhat lacking in sound quality. As something to really listen to, I was disappointed in the sound quality compared to my previous BA Solo. There's a lack of bass, a recessed mid-range, and slightly emphasized, yet truncated highs. It doesn't sound like anything like I'd expect of the looks. It's OK for casual background music, but only at low volume.
Also, that large center knob--strangely enough, is not the volume and power. An ergonomic design decision I disagree with.
I have a lot of mixed feelings on the product. It's put together well, looks nice, works OK... it just doesn't have the sound quality I wanted. I want to like it, but I can only recommend this product with reservations.
