Spill Resistant...isn't

Date:December 5, 2012
Sigh. I really liked this keyboard. I REALLY. did.
But I purchased it in the first place - because of the spill-resistant promise. I've had this keyboard for a year - and until today - no issues. Then - accidentally dumped a glass of milk over - and it got into the channels under the buttons.
I immediately turned off the keyboard, turned it upside down to let the liquid drain out - mopped up the remainder - then turned it back on -- and the whole thing was wonky. I let it sit all day - and it is still messed up.
Also - there's no way to take the face off (without breaking it) in order to get to the circuitry and let it air dry. The keys pop out - and snap back in, but that hasn't helped either.
Spill resistant - isn't living up to the promise. It's really too bad. I really did like this keyboard.

Good Value

Date:July 9, 2012
I like everything about the Keyboard except when the keys aren't used for a period of time, like 20 min, the first keystroke puts the caps on. When using for pass words or user id that are case sensetive this in not good. I thought there was something wrong with the 1st one so I took it back & exchanged for a 2nd one, same problem. I do like everything else.

Great wireless keyboard

Date:June 25, 2012
Bought this to replace an older wireless logitech keyboard. The new 2.4Ghz is great, now I can control my PC from the living room, about 7 meters. I use this for pausing, and playing movies I watch that are streaming to my AV receiver. Very small footprint, and light keyboard, yet the keys and layout size is still normal to a full keyboard, so it does not feel like I am typing on a laptop. Keys feel comfortable to press, and battery life is great. No complaints from me....and the price less than $30 for this great K/B, who can complain about that. I bought this and the M510 mouse which IMO make a great pair. The unifying feature of logitech is great, allows you to mix and match which k/b and mouse you want while both working off a tiny dongle.
I don't use any fn keys so the fact that this keyboard does not have that feature does not bother me at all! In fact I would rather have the right windows key that is on the KB270 rather than a FN key, because atleast I can change it to something else for gaming.
The only drawback to this keyboard, is that you cannot tell if numlock is on or off, but I have it on all the time anyway from boot, so it does not bother me. This k/b does have a caps lock light which is good.
It would be good to see this keyboard with an LCD display, similar to the one on the MK710, as LCD's use stuff all power, so would not affect the battery life much.
Hey heres an idea Logitech, make a KB275 with an LCD to show numlock/caps lock/battery life for k/b and any paired mouse. You can have the LCD off by default, and have a button beside it which you press that could show up this info on the LCD for a minute, then go off again, it would not impact on the battery life at all!

Logitech's best 'logical' keyboard

Date:October 11, 2011
Went looking for a keyboard to pair with my Anywhere MX that had ALL the buttons, and this was it. Batteries are AAA, altogether inexpensive, and the only status light on it is Caps Lock.
Cons - No right windows key. I play games and like to registry remap the left windows key to Right Alt and just use the right windows key. Instead, have to remap Right Alt to Menu, Menu to Windows, and deal with the fact I have to use 2 hands for Alt+PgDn, etc.
Pros - No funky fn key so everything can be remapped. Compact size so board can be easily moved around. On-Off button easily accessible. Extra receiver (I paired the keyboard with my mouse receiver) easily stored underneath board. Media keys have similar tactile feel as main board. Easily the 4 most useful Application Keys and Media keys one press away, and aligned center.
Other thoughts - Seems strange that a complete board and complete mouse with the best logitech features and usability isn't a combo, but I'm quite relieved that the unifying receiver allows me to make it so. Also, I prevent reception issues by having the receiver close to the monitor.
