Great Product

Date:May 20, 2013
I have only been using this keyboard for a little while now but it works fantastic! If you need a fairly inexpensive wireless keyboard then this is the one for you. A nice feature that may not be mentioned is when you press the volume or function keys a small window pops up telling you what key you have pressed. Some may find this feature annoying but I like it. Great job Logitech.

The Best Compact Keyboard On The Market.

Date:January 19, 2013
At first I was skeptical about this keyboard due to its affordable price and my previous experiences with Logitech wireless computer products. But, after reading some of the reviews for this product on this site, I decided "what the hey," and got the keyboard.
Let me just assure you that my skepticism quickly diminished when I started using it. This thing is awesome.
I commonly use wired keyboards for the fact that they have little to no latency. I thought the wireless keyboard wouldn't behave the same way, but boy was I wrong. This thing recognizes every keystroke at the same speed as a wired keyboard, making this one of the very first wireless keyboards with amazing speed.
I use this keyboard with my laptop, thus expecting it to be compact and a reliable keyboard to use when at home and not needing to use my laptop's integrated keyboard. With the exact same function keys and size, this becomes a perfect companion.
The battery life on this thing is yet to be testable (this review is as of a couple of hours after using this product), but the fact that it has a power switch that instantly turns the keyboard on and off makes power efficiency a reality, and that's always good for computers.
The keys are incredibly quiet and soft, and the 8 angle kickstand legs makes typing even more ergonomic, comfortable, and pleasing.
I am happy to say that this is the Logitech I was waiting for. Reliable, efficient, and perfect for any small surface.

Excellent Multi-Use Keyboard

Date:November 27, 2012
This keyboard is excellent to say the least. It has a unique design with the actual keys. I like the way they feel and i think they stick out the perfect amount. The keyboard is pretty good for gaming, superb for light-computer use and document writing, and decent for media controlling. The keyboard also includes a number pad which comes in handy if you type numbers a lot. The "F" keys have an array of uses ranging from "home" to "lock". Personally, I haven't really used any of these keys other than the calculator. One of this keyboards best characteristics is its size. This is a full size keyboard, but is so much smaller than a FULL SIZE KEYBOARD. The battery life is extensive and the Unifying receiver has operated flawlessly for me. Again, this keyboard is extraordinary even with a low price. I would recommend this keyboard to just about anyone.
The only problem I've had with this keyboard is one of the rubber feet fell out and is really loose now. The build quality of the keyboard is not nearly as awesome as the features included.

Dependable keyboard for standard use

Date:October 26, 2012
I'm very happy with the keyboard.
For usual everyday use, it's perfect. There is NO LAG at all when typing.
PROs:
- Small footprint on desktop. No wires, smaller than normal sized keyboards.
- Looks great with the shiny glossy coating.
- Quiet.
- Has rubber footpads on the bottom to avoid slipping.
CONs:
- Needs a little more force to press down than mechanical keyboards.
- Keys are a little flat.
- If you're using it for intense gaming, you may experience lag. When playing Guild Wars 2, there are lag periods lasting longer than 10 seconds. With Battlefield 3, there were times when it doesn't respond for the first 5 seconds.
Overall, great for normal usage. But if you are a gamer, you may do well to stick to a wired or bluetooth keyboard.

superb

Date:August 25, 2012
I purchased this keyboard because I got tired of typing on my 13" MacBook Pro keyboard when I was looking at a different monitor. I had the two screens side-by-side, but rarely used the actual display on the MBP, so I found myself looking off to the side while typing all the time. Very uncomfortable.
I've been pleasantly surprised by this keyboard. It's my second wireless keyboard, and I'm actually considering buying another one for home because I like it so much. The keys have the perfect balance of stiffness and "squishiness" when typing, and they don't make a lot of noise like the other keyboards that I have.
I love the nano receiver on this bad boy--I've paired my K360 and M570 to the same receiver and only use one USB port. Not once have I noticed any delay, and I would notice since I'm a developer and literally typing about 90% of the time I'm at work. I'm very curious to see how the "3 year battery life" lives up to my usage patterns. I do make it a point to turn off the keyboard when I leave work, so maybe that will make it last longer, who knows.
Perhaps the thing I'm most impressed with out of this keyboard and the nano receiver is that it will work perfectly even during BIOS configuration and whatnot. I've used other wireless keyboards that won't work until the operating system is loaded, which is very unfortunate.

Best keyboard I've ever used

Date:July 22, 2012
I just bought this keyboard today after reading countless reviews on amazon and this site, and I have to say, this keyboard is superb. Easy to type on, the design is awesome, and it doesn't make a lot of noises like my old keyboard. I've used many keyboards over the year and I must say this is my favorite so far. I was concerned at first with wireless keyboard since my uncle has one and it usually can't keep up with my typing. But this keyboard is awesome, haven't seen any lag whatsoever. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone.

Best keyboard I've known

Date:July 12, 2012
After my first quarter in a student apartment, I realized that my old, wired keyboard wasn't going to cut it. I picked this one up over Christmas break and have been extremely happy with it since.
It's shorter than a standard keyboard, which works for me in my limited living and working space.
The battery life is stupendous, because I'm on a student budget and I don't want to be buying batteries for wireless accessories.
The wireless range is impressive. I'm typing this from 15 feet away.
I use both a Mac and PC, and this keyboard is similar to the spacing of the previous Macbook Pro.
My favorite part of this keyboard? I can hide it away so easily! Hello desk! No wires to hide, to maneuver around objects, to pull short, to clutter up my desk. This is a wonderful keyboard and I highly recommend it.

Logitech K360 on Linux - FANTASTIC!

Date:June 20, 2012
As a Linux advocate, I am always impressed when a manufacturer provides out-of-the-box support for the 3rd most popular operating system -- Linux. Logitech does this very well with most, if not all, of its products. The K360 wireless keyboard is no exception.
The keyboard replaces a much larger wireless keyboard and takes up a fraction of the space in my keyboard tray. That helps because my Logitech M510 wireless mouse was a little crowded. Now it has room to roam!
For an inexpensive keyboard, I was surprised to find so many features. Many function keys for things like Mail, search, music, power (suspend) etc. There are also dedicated hardware keys for volume and media playback. It also has the most important feature on a battery-operated wireless device -- an OFF switch!
Ergonomically I expected the K360's small footprint to translate into cramped keys. That was not the case. They keys are nicely spaced and have a smooth feel to them. In fact, the keyboard is about the same physical size as the keyboard of my 14" HP laptop.
The "unifying" technology works perfectly to allow both the K360 and that M510 mouse work together on a single, tiny USB receiver. Nice!
Notice that I have not yet mentioned what I had to do to get this device to work with my Linux Minth 13 computer. That's because I had no issues at all. I just plugged it in and it works flawlessly. From the function keys to the unifying receiver, it worked as expected. That's high praise from a Linux geek like myself.
Logitech, please, please, please advertise your out-of-the-box compatibility with Linux on the box and on your website. It's an advantage! Linux and the Linux-based Android operating systems are rapidly becoming the #1 operating system technology on portable devices today.

Simply The Best

I am absolutely pleased with this keyboard, and the fact that I was able to unify it with my wireless mouse so easily to save a usb port was just awesome. Logitech provides the best equipment for the best prices. Thank you guys for that...keep up the great work.

Not so impressed after a few months

Date:May 11, 2012
Initially I was impressed with this keyboard. I liked that it had a similar footprint to a Mac keyboard and I have always liked chick let keys. But to my surprise I have actually grown to dislike this keyboard. The tactile feel of the keys has grown sloppy and it just feels cheap. Some keys even stick or have become weak in their stroke rebound. Also typing on it I thought the space between keys would help compensate for the smaller keys. But in my use it has not. I guess it might be a OK travel keyboard for occasional use, but even then I question its advantages over a laptop keyboard?

Almost like a mac keyboard. Almost.

Date:April 26, 2012
Being a mac user switching back to PC, I've grown used to the slim, slightly spaced apart keys of a macbook. I find it's perhaps the best for games, but the Mac itself isn't. Which is why I switched to PC. I know that there are products out there that bill themselves as Apple-like keyboards for mac and they are, but they aren't wireless, or half as stylish as this keyboard. The keys are slightly chunky (If you've used a mac for a while, Chunky keys really limit everything), but significantly less chunky than every other option out there. The small size and wireless tech is what really attracted me to this keyboard, and I have to say, this is a great keyboard. The keys are spaced out slightly more than a mac's, but hey, thats forgivable! Just buy this keyboard- Nothing can beat it.

Great keyboard with great feel

Date:March 31, 2012
I have fat fingers, or perhaps they just aren't very accurate. I've always thought that the ideal keyboard for me would be one with keys about the size of an eraser and a lot of space in between, to prevent me from hitting two at once. My HP Pavilion dv7 has a decent keyboard but the touch is so light that I often press keys by accident. The K360 has a perfect touch and the extra space between the keys keeps me from hitting two at once.
I like my monitors close to the keyboard so my next challenge was to figure out how to place the keyboard so the notebook monitor wasn't at arm's length. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the thin stand-up legs fit between rows on my notebook keyboard. I can literally put this keyboard on top of the dv7's keyboard and cover the touchpad when I'm in the office.
I couldn't have asked for a better fit.

Excellent Choice for wireless Keyboard

Date:March 30, 2012
Purchased this keyboard as a replacement for a Zboard set. This (like all my logitech periphials is excellent right out of the box. The keys are easy touch to type and laid out foe simple manipulation. The swith Fn key function is most helpful. If any improvement needed at all it would be to have a light for Num lock and Cap lock to show when activated. This keyboard performed so well, went right back and bought another for my Dell laptop and it works very well even for WoW game play.

What to do when unit does not work out of the box

Date:March 21, 2012
I've read a couple of reviews that indicate that this keyboard won't start up even if you do everything right.
Hint: Remove one of the batteries and merely put it right back in. This seems to "reboot" the board. Worked for me.
Otherwise the keyboard is A-OK.
