Natural keyboard for Android devices
Date:October 11, 2012
I'm currently using the Logitech Tablet Keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and it's definitely worth! It just arrived a yesterday but I'm still getting accustomed to some of the keys/shortcuts it has in regards to the Android platform. Some of the benefits of this keyboard are Bluetooth, Compact, Sturdy carrying case/dock for tablet, ease of use, and that the keys have a very good tactile feel! The only drawback I can think of is the lack of a numeric keypad but then again this is something I can live without since it has numeric keys on the top and it would've probably make the keyboard much larger than it already is - the size is just right! Overall, if you're looking to expand the capabilities of your Android device, then I'd highly recommend this particular product!

Doable Android Keyboard
Date:June 16, 2012
My Lenovo K1 tablet runs Android 3.2.1 and the keyboard and tablet paired perfectly. Even though I type about 90 wpm, this keyboard is fine for my emails, etc. I am using it to write this review. Some of the function keys do not work, such as Home, Del, Email, Music; but that is OK with me as long as the main keyboard keys work. Having a case that is also a stand is great. The angle is rather upright a little much, but that is minor. What you get with this keyboard and case combo -- I don't think it can be beat.

Keyboard is great
Date:February 1, 2012
I love this keyboard!!! I type very fast and the iPad keyboard was very slow for me, I had a regular keybaord for my laptop. This keyboard is excellent and the carrying case so compact AND protective. My only wish item would be a keyboard diagram/manual included in the box. A bit time consuming finding it on line. A lot of product for a great price.

very good and interesting, but could improve it by adding more speakers on the sides.

surprisingly bad ergonomics for a Logitech design
Date:January 16, 2012
Now that it pairs with latest Android 4.0, it's apparent this is a thumbs-only unit, and the thumbs had better be small. Forget about touch-typing. If the intended use is with a cell phone or pad computer, you will have to alternate holding the keyboard and using 2 thumbs with reaching for the phone to use its touch interface. Just visualize the juggle this requires, and you get the idea. Not worth it.

Works good with G-Slate Tablet
Date:January 1, 2012
This keyboard synced right up to my T-Mobile G-Slate. The special character keys work well with the Logitech KB (other non-Logitech KBs did not work with the G-Slate). Some of the special FN keys work but not all. Going to look into this further but would rate a 5 if they all worked.

Works Great with lots of Droids
Date:November 10, 2011
Works great with my Motorola Xoom tablet. For most business trips now the laptop stays home. I also pair this with my Motorola Drio Pro Smartphone (older Andriod). No documentation on this, just enter the same code on both phone and keyboard and be patient if it takes a couple of tries... My son got it to work with an array of older Android phones as well.

Pretty good, works on older Android as well as PC
Date:October 22, 2011
Got this paired to my Archos tablet which runs Android 2.2, seems to be decent. Also paired to my laptop as a test, works even better on the laptop which is good because I bought it to work with a Windows tablet. I like that the user can replace the batteries with commonly available cells, hopefully it will also work with rechargeable cells. Seems like a decent value for the money. Chicklet keys are OK, action is a little lesser compared to the keyboard on my Samsung laptop which uses similar keys.

Not as easy as it seems...
Date:October 18, 2011
I've used many Logitech products in the past and they have performed well. But I did just recently buy a Toshiba Thrive (Android 3.1) and the Logitech Tablet Keyboard, and although it was easy enough to pair the two, it would simply tell me, "paired but not connected."
It took forever to figure out the right combination of on/off toggles and pair/un-pair functions to get it to work. And honestly I can't remember how now. I do know that I have to un-pair, turn them both off, and start again just to get a signal. Very disappointing. My wife gave up trying to figure it out on her own.
And now, when trying to use the keyboard, we will tap to place the cursor somewhere (on a web page) and then start typing. The keyboard jumps to the URL field and starts to enter into the search area. Very frustrating.
If anyone has an answer to those two issues I would consider not taking this thing back and trying to find something different.

Fantastic Keyboard with the wrong intent
Date:September 30, 2011
I've seen many reviews for this keyboard saying "It won't connect to my mac" or "It dies after a couple of days". I can't relate to these reviews beacuse this keyboard has connected to everything I've thrown at it so far, and has yet to die on me! You can always rely on Logitech products.
As of this moment I'm typing this review with the Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Android on a Macbook Pro. Mind you there are still issues... Like there is sometimes a break in communication and it lags for a couple of seconds... and the size of the keyboard is an almost perfect match to the size of the Macbook pro keyboard (excluding the function keys).
It also works great for my Asus Transformer android tablet and is 1/2 the cost of the Keyboard dock sold by Asus. I just don't think that adding a keyboard to an Android tablet is necessary.. It's actually a step backwards IMO.
That said... It's an awesome keyboard... But, it's just not what we need at this time... making an iPad version and an Android version makes little sence to me. Logitech should have made a Universal Tablet / PC keyboard with F-Keys. Now that would have been a great product!

worked for a day or two
Date:September 3, 2011
seems to talk to the galaxy tab 10.1 I have but can't type.. makes the screen flash a bit so I know there's bluetooth present but it stopped working - now a $70 hunk of plastic with no use
(Note DOES work on my macintosh laptop so I know it's a software issue)

AWESOME!

Bought this keyboard today and it works with my tablet and my Iphone 4. Great to know I have a "backup" for when my tablet battery runs low! Just the shortcuts don't work, but hey, it types! :)

Quick to pair, quick to return from power down, nice feel, good selection of Android buttons. Buy one and you'll never look back.

Nice Keyboard, but where did the Windows Key go?
Date:August 1, 2011
So far, the keyboard itself seems to be of good quality. I can type on it just fine. The main complaint I have, is that on every picture on every place that sells this keyboard, and even on the box itself, there's a window/cmd key to the left of the spacebar. Heck, even the specs says it has a windows key. So where did it go? I got this keyboard using the specs and pictures, expecting that it had a windows/cmd key. (yes I do use that key for shortcuts, etc.) Now that I purchased it, and had it shipped to the Philippines, I guess I can leave this expensive doorstop on the shelf... sigh

Great Keyboard for any android
Date:June 24, 2011
Just bought the keyboard at a frys after looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 keyboard dock (which is pretty ugly and from that the reviews say does not even work all the time). So far this baby is one of the best keyboards I've used and makes typing a pleasure on the my galaxy tab 10.1. I would recommend it to anyone planning on doing much typing on their tablet. The only time I would suggest otherwise would be on the Asus Transformer cause its keyboard dock extends the battery life of the tablet.
