Great for long term use.

Date:April 15, 2013
I bought this headset about a year ago. I have only ran into one problem but that was just me forgetting to turn on the headset I use this for gaming and for recording videos and such. I LOVE the audio control panel. It's very useful when you're playing a game and someone mic spams . If you just use headsets for skyping and such then this is the headset for you! Definitely worth the money.

Save your money, buy something that will last

Date:April 10, 2013
So, I got these new headphones right after finishing my new desktop. They are pretty easy to operate since it's wireless and it sounds clear for a few weeks. But that's the thing, they only last a few weeks. Mine just decided to stop working completely and wouldn't turn on and when it did all I got was static. I never dropped them, beat them against anything. They're just made of cheap materials is way overpriced for what they have to offer. Save your money, buy something that is halfway built well.

After wearing it for at least 30 minutes your ears start to ache. It is not comfortable at all. Although, it's very good for the price.

DOES NOT MAKE THE COFFEE

Date:March 7, 2013
ONE YEAR AGO I put this headset in charge for 3 hours. I inserted the nano-receiver in a USB port on my non-high-brand laptop with XP Home. I turned the headset on and after about 10 seconds I heard a beep. I did a call with Skype. The headset worked very fine and I enjoyed freedom to walk up to 10 m away from the laptop and behind a wall. The same thing happened with my desk-top. With my big surprise the headset worked straight away even on my Viewsonic tablet (only the ear-set not the micro). Crystal clear music listening on all computers.
It works the same way today. I don't know what else I could ask.
Ah no, wait! There is one thing. You cannot just jam this headset in your backpack. It is delicate. I have been lucky as I find a plastic food-box of the exact dimensions to contain just the headset and his USB cable. So, as a suggestion for Logitech, instead of using an usefulness plastic package, sell the headset in a plastic package like a kind of "travel box".
If this headset goes broken I will go out and buy exactly the same.
Now, said that, for those who have some problem I would suggest to check the power coming out from the USB port they are using

Great for hearing-impaired people

Date:March 6, 2013
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to use my hearing aids with this headset. The Bluetooth end of it could be a little bit better - the sound quality with my phone wasn't exactly ideal - but for audio and video conferencing, it does the job brilliantly. And the battery life on this headset is far better than even my phone. lol

Great headset for PCs

Date:March 5, 2013
I've had this headset for almost 2 years now, and it still has a good battery life. They are fairly durable; I've kept mine in my backpack that I bring to and from work on a daily basis and the device continues to work without issue.
The range is pretty good, but other devices (like microwaves) will interfere if you get too close. I primarily use them for headphones, but every time I've used them for the mic, they've performed well.
I would say that it would be nicer to have kept the design of the older wireless headset where you could push the center of the volume control to mute instead of the small button on the headset. I also liked the old headset's indicator light for the mute, but even without these, it's a great headset.

Headset Freedom

Date:February 17, 2013
I received the h600 as a Christmas gift and have been using the headset since with no problems. The audio is good on both transmit and receive. The range will not cover my whole home but at least the half it does cover untethers me from my desktop computer. All and all, a good product for the money.

These headphones are amazing - they work as advertised and the sound is crystal clear.
For people who travel often, the ability to fold the headphones is just what we need. However, the quality of manufacture is somewhat lacking and the headpiece is flimsy; sometimes to the point that the wire joining R and L pops out of its track.
Understanding that Logitech has always been committed to high quality, I am surprised that Logitech does not include a protective case for this unit.

I am normally a huge fan of LT. Today, however, I am writing in hopes of keeping others from making the mistake of assuming that the h600 is high quallity. DO NOT..I REPEAT...DO NOT WASTE two whole days as I did trying to configure these to work. THEY DO NOT. 4 different laptops (Dell and HP) W/7-32, W/7-64. I was unable to configure these to work even allowing for the fixes that LT suggested. The h600 is simply a non-functioning product.

Don't Buy - Many failures

Date:January 11, 2013
I have had two of these, and they are very poor quality headsets. The first one had the problem with requiring to be re-bound to the transceiver constantly. The replacement from LT started have reduced battery life then failed to charge after a relatively short time (<3 weeks). When it worked, it worked fine, but it kept failing me and I couldn't trust it.
I have had great success from LT products over the years, but the H600 is a collosal failure and should be removed from the market.

These headphones are very decent for the price, and after half a year of toying around with them on my computer, i decided to connect them to my HTC Desire. I can confirm with about 97% assurance that the weakness that the audio has coming from the headsets, at least the slightly smaller streaming rate, comes from the USB adapter, not the headset. All in all, a very decent Bluetooth headset once you know how to use them. Not as much functionality as my other headset, but that's to be expected from something not advertised as Bluetooth.

Solid performance for first USB wireless headset

Date:November 13, 2012
After my wired Plantronics headset bit the dust after many years of usage, I decided to give the newer USB headsets a try. I really wasn't in the market for wireless but have always hated cords, thus it wasn't a difficult decision to give this particular headset a try when I discovered the wired headset selection out of stock locally.
I've read the concerns others have had regarding some longevity issues. After two months of usage, I've not had any concerns thus far, though. I often obtain better-than-documented battery life, even when frequently using the headset at higher volumes for extended periods of time. Recharge times aren't bad at all, either. The headset may be used while recharging, though the shorter-than-average cord won't allow one to move far. The sound quality is clear and good but not exceptional. The frequency range will sometimes clip (especially the lows) at higher volumes but the headset provides better-than-average sound for the price. These are NOT Bose headsets and one shouldn't expect them to perform in such fashion. The microphone sound quality is quite nice, offering very clear sound at even low speaking levels. I worked in broadcast radio for years and have a deeper voice, so I was somewhat concerned with these different areas. I've no complaints!
The range within my home has been quite good, even with 1935-era plaster/metal mesh wall construction. At the farthest reaches within the home, I do occasionally hear some static, but within the room in which my laptop normally resides, I've never had an issue.
Setting up the interface is not terribly challenging (I am running Win 7 and cannot vouch for use with anything but computers) and changing from the headset to the laptop speakers is as simple as unplugging the Nano receiver. When I wish to return to the headset, I simply plug the receiver back in, then turn the headset switch on. I've found that I don't have to enter and change the sound properties from Windows Control panel at all (I can't guarantee this will work with all installations but tis worth a try...).
My only reservations about the headset are the charging cord (I agree that it could have been made longer for use of the headset while charging) and perhaps the light-weight construction. I tend to be rather gentle with such items, though I could see the potential for relatively easy breakage if dropped or handled too roughly. In other words, go easy on this unit.
Ergonomically, this is a lightweight and comfortable headset. I wear glasses, so it sometimes becomes a wee bit sore around the ears if I wear it for several hours, but this is easily resolved by removing the headset for a few minutes. The headset clamps firmly without being so firm as to annoy.
The only other observation I have is that one needs to keep in mind that the Nano receiver apparently continues to draw power from the laptop even when the laptop is shut down. I recently found that my laptop battery was drained almost completely after traveling about three hours away with the receiver still plugged into one of the USB ports, an issue I didn't have on the return trip when I unplugged the receiver and stored it in the handy little storage port located on the bottom of the headset's left earpiece.
Overall, yes, I'd recommend this unit to others. The sound quality, while not exceptional, is still quite pleasing, and the freedom from being tied by a cord to the computer ensures I'll never return to a wired headset.

Comfortable, good sound quality, liberating!

Date:October 5, 2012
Works fine once the pairing utility is used to get started. Great comfort, wireless range is perfect for my desk space, sound quality is great for Skype and SIP phones - worked across different softphones with no issue.
Battery life seems good, would be nice to have a longer cord in case battery runs low on a call -otherwise I would rate this much better than my old "professional" Plantronics headset.

Frustrated with Logitech Products

Date:July 20, 2012
Bought one of these while waiting for my G930s (2 of them) to be shipped back (both stopped charging after several months of use). Headset worked okay for a few months, but would occassionally lose connection to its usb plug, requiring re-synch. Now this headset appears to have a dead battery (when plugged in, like will go solid orange indicating charging, but if unplugged from the charger, the headset will not turn on even after having been left charging for 3 hours). After three lemon purchases, I'm losing faith in what was once my favorite comp accessory provider (I use keyboards, mice, and desktop speakers from Logitech along with the G600 and aforementioned G930s).

Constantly loses connection

Date:July 1, 2012
this headset has been useless, it will lose it's connection midway through calls, forcing you to run the pairing utility to resync it. Does this 2-3 times each day rendering it pointless.

Constant echo!

Date:June 11, 2012
I like the sound quality, but any time i talk into the mic there is playback into my ears of my own voice!!!
Its very hard to carry on a conversation with this going on non-stop, I tried rading through the troubleshooting FAQ and there is NOTHING about echo.

Decent at best

Date:June 6, 2012
The little piece that plugs into the USB port is very easy to lose, as you have to take it out at times because the mic won't work. I've been through two of these in about two months. Not very good durability, but excellent sound. Will try one more time, but need to fix the very breakable headset.
