Happily Surprised!

I figured a product like this would give me decent sound, especially given the compression of A2DP. I was surprised to find out that the sound quality was better than I could have hoped. The highs are quite clear, and the bass is completely unexpected given the size of this thing. Set up was a breeze, the touch controls work well, and all my test calls over the speaker phone have been clear on both ends. Only thing I haven't tested out yet is the 10 hour battery life, but since my phone won't stream audio that long without expiring first, I doubt it'll come up often.

Bought this on a whim looking for bluetooth speakers and was very surprised. My search is over. Buy this speaker and you won't be sorry. Portable. Easy to use. Great sound. Long battery life. Just as advertised.

GREAT you Must buy it

This little boom box exceeded my expiations. I was amazed of the quality sound and the strong musical base from such a small unit. The wireless connectivity makes this unit stand above the rest. I gave one away as a present. Now… I must buy another from myself.

Wish I could return it

I bought this speaker around Christmas time. Been using it on and off. Any extended use with Bluetooth seems to cause the speaker to crash. In an hour of music playing through Bluetooth on my phone, the speaker will suddenly black out six or seven times which then requires me to reconnect it to my phone. Note my phone works flawlessly for hours with my car stereo.
I have seen others with the same problem on the Logitech forums and other places.

Unexpected

When I opened the box, I expecting something bigger and I felt a little cheated. I plugged in the power and synced to my iPad and was floored. It is hard to believe the quality of sound and ease of use comes from such a small package with such a small price. In years of laptop and mobile device use, I have never seen anything like this. This is what the industry should be doing. But then again, it's from Logitech so I shouldn't be surprised.

I was going to buy the ihome's but then I seen this and I like to be unconnected and this was the way to go, plus if it needs to be something that can't be bluetoothed you can use the AUX cable.

I was looking for a jawbone. when the best buy I went to was sold out of them the salesman pitched me onto this logitech. He said its 100 bucks cheaper and if you don't like it we have a 30 return policy. I opened the box immediately upon leaving the store and tried it out and let me tell you... It's exactly what I was looking for! Loud! Clean! Fullbodied! Bumps something super for a device that will fit in the palm of your hand!

So good at this price point

Simply great, especially at this price point. The ONLY thing that could make this speaker better for all it has going for it is if it came with a travel case of some sort or protection so that when I take it on the beach I don't have to worry about sand.

The sound on this speaker is awesome! blown away at how much sound comes out of this little package. The bluetooth connection is a must have for a portable speaker. 1 small draw back is that it is hard to see the touch display in the sunlight, but other than that, worth every penny.

Great little speaker. Works very well as a hands free option for my phone in the car. Unlike another review I have had no problems with the microphone. Buttons take getting used to, but once you get it set up and learn the positions it is terrific.
For music, very little bass, but I did not expect much in this size package. High recommend.

I'm not an extreme audipphile, but I travel a lot and my existing wired speaker set up was damaged. I decided to start looking into Bluetooth speakers and this little guy popped up along with the Jambox. I was turned away from the Jambox immediately because of the price and decided to give the mini boom box a try.
The sound is great for being such a portable device. Set up was über easy on both my iPhone and and iPad. Battery life is excellent. Portability is fantastic! Would highly recommend.

great sound, poor mic

the mini boom box has an amazing sound for its size - you can easily fill a room with it.
bluetooth setup was very easy (phone and laptop) and the range is good.
i have several complaints, though, which made me return the product.
complaint 1: mini usb connector, not the micro connector that will be the european standard means having to shlep one more cable
complaint 2: extremely poor microfone performance. i could not make myself heard unless holding the unit directly to my mouth - not really handsfree, hunh?
complaint 3: buttons are easy to push by mistake, making the product unsuitable for mobile use
to summarize, if all you want is a small, stationary bluetooth loudspeaker, this is a very good product.
if, like me, you want it to be highly mobile for presentations and conference calls on the go - sorry, no.
let me say it one more time, the sound is great and i seriously considered keeping it just as a loudspeaker.
