The Couch Mouse is very versatile and rugged.

Date:October 10, 2012
I have owned one of these mice since they were first released, which has been well over a year now. I liked the mouse so much that I took it work to use as my workstation's, and then purchased a second one to use with my laptop. I use the one at work 8+ hours a day nearly nonstop. I use it on my work desk without a mouse pad, and it has never given me a single issue. The bottom of the mouse will get scratched if you use it on a abrasive surface like the top of a desk, but it hasn't even slightly affected the performance of mine, not even when I switch to using it on something like my pant leg. I also wanted to mention, YOU DO NOT HAVE INSTALL ANY SOFTWARE TO USE THE HYPER-SCROLLING FEATURE!!! The hyper-scrolling feature is utilized by pushing the scroll wheel down until it clicks, which essentially just releases the gearing on the scroll wheel and allows to spin freely. THUS THE HYPER-SCROLLING IS A FUNCTION OF THE MOUSES HARDWARE AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SOFTWARE!!! I never install the software (Because I have zero desire to customize the mouse functions.), and still the mouse is fully functional. I work in the IT Field, and I do this kind of work everyday (if anyone should have doubts about my level of knowledge in this area). Bottom line - Awesome mouse!!! I own 2 of them and love them. The only thing I would change about them, if I could, is to use laser for the tracking method instead of optical. I personally like the ultra-precise feel of a laser, but these mice are close.

Logitech Makes Better

Date:April 13, 2012
I have owned many logitech mice and have always been very satisfied. Not with this one. My first one was replaced because it stopped working after the first day. Called support and went thru all of their recommendations and they agreed it was defective. Sent me another one and so far it is still working but if you have the wheel set to 'hyperscroll' the page will move slightly up or down randomly even if your hand is not on the mouse. I think that may be because the hyperscroll is too sensitive or the wheel is too loose and rolls a tiny bit forward or back on its own when you remove your finger. The first one did the same thing. Kind of irritating to the eyes. Also, the bottom where the laser is located has a slick/shiney surface and after just 3-4 hours of use (using a mouse pad on top of the table) I noticed that it is already scratched. I can't help but wonder if the thing will stop working all together when the 'window' for the laser becomes more and more scratched. Kind of like check out line scanners...the more they are scratched the harder it is for the item to be scanned easily. Time will tell. Even if this one stops working I will still buy Logitech...just a different mouse.

Works as they said it would....... Unified with my Logitech keyboard in less then a minute....... No software to download !!!! Something they don't mention in the Specs is that this is a laser mouse......... No loss of connection at all and zero problems with the K320 keyboard either..... All and all a great buy...... Got mine at Staples in Canada for $24.95 so cheaper then buying it right from Logitech and they want $39 for it at Future Shop up here in the great white north !!!! Should mention too that I don't even have the receiver in my laptop, I have it in a USB hub which they say is a no-no but it works perfectly and no loss of signal for either keyboard or mouse ever !!!
Bottom line, great mouse for the money, have to see how long the batteries last though.........

Great Purchase

Date:January 20, 2012
Bought this for my 69 year old dad who was having trouble using the laptop touchpad. He loves it. Even said it works from across the room when he connects the laptop to the HDTV and leaves the laptop next to the TV. Love the battery saving button on the bottom. Wish I had bought 2 b/c I have to keep popping out the batteries when I am done. Really easy to install, no discs or having to go to the internet for drivers - just inserted the adapter to laptop and within less than a minute the mouse was working.
