By far the worst product I have ever bought for my computer and the only one to date I will be returning. I bought this product from best buy for $24.99 $27.36 after tax SD CA USA. The sound was ok and the mic didn’t work at all I used the mic jack on the back of my tower. As soon as I put these on I felt discomfort and heat in minutes I fiddled with my settings plugging and unplugging the plug I also tried rotating the plug and everything I could think of from about 5pm to 1am until finally I gave up and wrote this review my old mic works fine and I tried many times over xfire my sound recorder app(standard with windows) and just un-muting my mic so my speakers said what ever the mic picked up. My old one passed all these and this one failed them all id like to think it’s a factory defect but my friend bought one at the same time in the same store and had similar problems accept his worked for a few minutes before fizzling out no wonder they where on sale. -nanaki 8/29/2009

not all headsets fits everyones need, this one did it for me, the guy saying that i cant sit back in my chair cause it hits the headset, then why did you get a headset that goes behind your head. for the ears hurting, thats anyhead set that sits and tucks behind your ear expecially if you have them on for over an hour have a little common since. the only thing i see as a flaw is that the remote is a little to low but at that advantange you can always clip it to your shirt that is why the clip is there. thank you logitech keep up the good work. i have your keyboard mouse and speaker system and none have failed me yet thank you

As an adult male, these do not fit comfortably at all. They are very tight, are not adjustable, and I am unable to lean my head back against my chair without the headset being pushed forward out of proper position. No relaxing reclining with these on. These are also not well suited to someone with certain ear piercings. They were very uncomfortable against my industrial bar because they squeeze so tightly. A selling feature on the box of this product is an open air earpiece design for coolness. Within 5 minutes my ears were both sore and hot.
This headset has generous ear padding, but overall is designed poorly. The volume control hangs too far down the cord, and is awkward to manipulate from the 12 o'clock position (high volume) to the 6 o'clock position (low volume). The mic boom is a solid arm that can be rotated up or down, but not bent closer or farther away from my mouth. Not necessarily bad, but not great either.
This is simple plug and play, although if using the USB adapter you have a 50/50 chance of inserting the twin adapter prongs backwards. If you aren't getting any sound, try reversing them.
The sound quality is average. The same goes for the mic. I wasn't broadcasting any clearer than on my previous (cheaper) mic, but not worse either.
This is a very run of the mill headset. For the price (almost $90 Canadian), I expected a better product. I am returning mine after less than two hours of use.
I like my Logitech G15 keyboard. I LOVE my Logitech G9 mouse. I absolutely dislike my soon to be returned Logitech Digital Precision PC Gaming Headset. Sorry Logitech. I can't give you a pass on this one.

First off, realize that the band is SUPPOSED to go behind your head. Just like on the pictures...
The only reason these aren't perfect for me isn't even the fault of Logitech. It's just that they push my glasses into the side of my head, and I have no hair on the sides of my head to cushion against that.

I bought these for mid-level gaming, nothing fancy. Sound quality is decent, microphone performance is more than acceptable. In-line volume control is difficult to adjust (poor design.) Microphone boom works well, nothing fancy to fuss with there. The open-air earcup design is useful for me, as it keeps my ears from overheating and keeps out of trouble, as I can still hear my wife calling me.
The big problem I have with this headset is that it's obviously designed for someone with a head several sizes smaller than mine, and I don't have a huge head (size 10-1/4 hat.) Perhaps it was developed for teen gamers? It's not adjustable in any way, so I've take to wearing it behind my head until I find something better. I'm glad I didn't pay the extra money for the digital version...

I got a pair of these as a gift from a friend of mine. I planned to use them for WoW, but never actually got them to work as an in-game mic. That may have been a compatibility problem but still a massive pain and it seems like it really shouldn't be difficult to set up a new mic headset. The biggest problem I had with them was that they didn't fit comfortably. I have kind of a big head and they would just barely stay on, plus after a while they made my ears sore. They are not adjustable, just a "one size fits a few".

At first glance the headphones surround your mind with a experience that you have never felt before.
